Anybody can be accused of being a thief, liar, and scammer. It isn't the boards responsibility to ensure that every member is on the "up and up". It wouldn't even be possible.

Yup. A couple grand changed hands a tour design and an affiliates program design, a members section.
Full consultation was givin about the various methods to open a program, what scripts are available estimated costs of those scripts, which included discussions on CCBILL, NATS, MPA, cascade processing.

Over 20 different versions of the aff program alone.

A Members section design, designed twice.
Extensive consultation on members section, security and basic set ups.

A tour design, featuring flash, delivery of source files, font files, and even extra stuff. The tour under went 2 complete revisions and are not template tours. It is unique and will kick ass in the field.

The design for this project was done over 1.5 months ago and I repeatedly provided links to the source files and source PSD's.

I am the one that got ripped off, and this thread once again damages me and my work. Its not worth continuing on this matter.

So I guess someone is lying, Alien says the work is done and the client has had access to it. The client says they still haven't received what they paid for, interesting.

I got people that owe me money and work all the time and even now...Its always that way. I can't count the number of times clients never paid me over the years.

It's the nature of things.
Don't see me sniveling about it on the boards, nor putting non educated fucks upto shit they have no clue about...

If you are a designer or developer these days be prepared to deal with very unprofessional people. People that think Boards are the catch all to business.

People will usually over work you and under pay you these days and even if you do a good job and go above means to make a project work they will still push you around.

We've reached the bottom of the barel and its true...

Most folks these days needing work really think you owe them the world and then some when they get you a couple hundred bucks and never rule out character assassination in the public eye when its deemed in the slightest issue.
I wont play this game anymore.

Ya want a good deal in design, and ya always get your money's worth in being a professional with mutual respect at my shop.

Ya fuck me, I will take your money.
I have no qualms about it these days its that simple.

The gap is simple. The clients had no idea what they are doing.

The clients decided to contact JimTheFiend to conduct Character assassination.

When this was created I still had work to do for there order which is like 5 banners and a flash component for the aff program and the aff program script integration is no where nears ready. If I did the flash component they would just have me re do the flash component when the program launches because there would be updates they didnt know about.

Other than that.

EVERYTHING was delivered repeatedly.
Source files and HTML cuts and templates.
Everything.

So they can do the rest of this project at this point, let them find some sucker designer in Europe or Korea to do the lousy 20 bucks in banners and 80 bucks or so flash.

Ah, thanks, I guess he just doesn't want to complete the work he contracted for. Seems like a huge communication mishap as the client is saying they just now got some of the work today and alien is saying they had it a month ago.

That ?full consultation? consisted of what? One or two short telephone calls? In which you bashed NATS and Albright and pimped MPA.

And now in a more recent post you?re saying that the problem is that the client doesn?t know what they?re doing. Well, if that?s so, it doesn?t bode well for your ?consultation? now does it.

It also speaks volumes that my initial posts to this thread were simply asking you for the rest of what we?re due for what we paid you, and when you show up you?re in full asshole bash hate mode. Way to resolve your paying client?s issues.

Those ?20 different versions? consist of a lot of very minor easy adjustments. Such as just changing fonts to see what looked nice. The whole of the design remained the same.

I just have to LOL at that one. You gave us one teeny tiny page for the member?s area. I had to build all of the other pages and even some of the graphics myself. I?ve never worked on a project before where the client received ONE page for the member?s area with incomplete graphics to boot.

Then where is my flash and banners? I don?t have it because it?s not done. Therefore the entirety of the designs for this project were not finished 1.5 months ago since I?m still waiting on things you promised to have finished over a month ago.

And yeah, this is gonna sound like ?he-said, she-said? to anyone who doesn?t know you for what you really are, but everyone that has been burned by you before is gonna shake their head and pity the people who fell into Alien?s delusional little world.

Prove me wrong and give us our flash and banners.

It's not a communication mishap. We've had *most* of the design work from Alien (I never said we didn't have *any* of it) but I was still missing some PSD's -- which I got today -- and we're still missing some flash and banners. Which Alien is now openly refusing to finish.

I see, is he at least willing to refund you for the part of the work he didn't complete since by his posts he doesn't seem too concerned about finishing the work.

Lol @ him refunding anything. He's fucking BROKE and this thread is a perfect example of why.

Lets see:

All the work isnt done.
He ignored the customer for months.
He's refusing to complete the job.

I'd be looking into ways of charging back the initial payment at this point.

At least I'm not the only one that found it impossible to work with this client .. and believe me it's hard to work with someone that thinks they know everything and really have no clue ...

not you Lass ... I know you have a good idea of how things work .. you did work for me for many months and always did a good job.

That's Mark Tiarra's design company. I highly recommend it.

Mark does great designs and works very well with the client. He was a member of the Mobbucks team for our first year and designed all of our sites and the www.mobbucks.com program

I think this is a good example of why a bad reputation is so much harder to lose than a good reutation is to build. I have no idea what happened, but seeing how there have been so many posts similar to this pertaining to AlienQ you have to take that into account. Goes to show that it's much better to handle your business and have good dealings with people because a bad rep travels so fast.

Amen to that brother.

Yeah...i was just saying earlier that we had good results with Alien.

I don't know him personally but I guess I'd like to see him do well in this biz.

Alien, how about just giving them a little money back just for the karma points and the business reputation.

*i'll butt out know...slams door*

Since Alien claims to be broke, I'd be very happy to just have the rest of the design work completed by him ASAP rather than a promise of a refund.

Besides, it seems there are other people he owes money to. Alien just needs to own up. Pay the people the money he owes, and finish providing the other people with the design and content he owes them and keeps promising.

Please and thank you.

Nope.

No money will be givin back.

It is easy to get a bad reputation than get a good one.

I am gonna stick with a bad reputation. There are to many people ready to attack and ready. They sit around on the sidelines.

This is shot two fired from folks related to Tierra, and "Deals" gone wrong from that circle. I wont be fucked with and do not appreciate being gamed in this.

Frankly on the matter I never encouraged NATS or MPA. I encouraged to start out with a straight CCBILL and WTS option for a single site start which they are doing.

But looks like they are comfortable spending more and my client got talked into more than she needed to get started in the affiliates game.

So people should easily figure out where I sit.

I am not a hustler, or con, I do hard work and try to do very good work for clients. When thier actions fall into a "Hustle" I will always be apt to pull the plug and take whats mine in the deal.

Do not do business with me if you are the type of person always on the hustle, lookin for an angle, or a person looking to treat help with a "Pimp" pre disposition.

I WILL TAKE YOUR FUCKING MONEY when ya fuck with me. I been around a while.

I been fucked with two times now by the Tiara camp.
I wish Lia the best, I really do, but appearently we know who's information she is listening to at this point and who's offerings were far more expensive in the long run.

Its out of my hands.

PS: How Jim THe Fiend fits in the picture is simple. They used em to get at me on matters that were none of his concern, none of his business in a complex situation.

This project was to be kept on the downlow.

Sorry Aimee blabbing off to stupid third parties, pullin in Tiera on the matter and edging me out of this whole deal and getting Lia to spend far more than necessary...

That is just cold blooded.
I do not do that sort of shit to clients then piss on the help.

Go Fuck Yourself.
