On a completely un-related topic, I was buying a ring for my wife and got financing through the store who finances through Wells Fargo Financial. A rep from WFF called me to come in, saying I needed to sign some papers for the ring financing. I get there and he starts pitching me on a wonderful home refinance deal. I decide to do it and when it came time to sign the papers, everything he said was a lie, but for some reason I still went with it - only to find out they tacked on $4000 more than the rep said.

I wrote a letter to WFF calling bullshit. Nothing happened.
I wrote a letter to the jewelery store's corporate HR department saying what happened. A couple of days later a regional WFF manager calls me and gave me my $4000 back.

DMCA AFF's hosting company. Make sure they are aware of the situation.

Do the same with any other advertising company you find on the page. You will almost certainly find AdBrite or similar on there - potentially even Google.

Send a letter to the RIAA and to the Motion Picture Academy. Let them know that a company right in their back yard (AFF / Cams) is actively providing financial support for torrent sites. Let them know the steps you have taken. Encourage them to contact AFF and ask them why this is the case.

At some point, one or the other of these companies or groups will get advice from a lawyer that they are compelled to take action. If things go according to plan, that will include trying to stuff a legal broomstick up AFF's corporate ass.

Don't just bitch - take action.

Can't wait for the days the bros realize that they are doing each other in a bad way. People seem to forget about all the damage already done and it is just continuing. I have been taking notes on all of this since since we started hearing about it and removing sponsors right and left. Not that I am a big player or anything but I will not promote companies that are involved in such tactics.

Sad thing is that when I look at some of my trades who do I see that they are advertising the same companies that I am trying to avoid. I haven't taken the step of removing trades for who they promote but lol I am close.

Used to make anywhere from 3k to almost 5k a month in this biz. That has gone down to half if not more now. Yeah I don't skim anymore or have very entertaining sites but when I saw my best sponsor of all time go from under 1 in 1000 to over 1 in 4k I knew that something else must be going on.

Anyways cheers it up bros the damage will hit like a brick one of these days and you will be looking for a job like me peace ...

I'm glad that reporting of these sites is being looked into, but I don't buy that the folks at Fleshlight don't know they are getting a ton of traffic from some of the biggest torrent sites on the web.

I agree Oz , but keep in mind I am not in FL office and dont have full access to all data or stats except fr my own affs. So there is so much i can do but pass info along to the powers that be.
