I've also been called bitter (absurd to anyone who really knows me?they'd lay it more to a weird sense of humor) and I've had it all blamed on my age (I'm not walking with a cane yet...and ironically THAT was from someone whose first line of defense was to accuse me of stereotyping potheads).

All in all an interesting day.

but you were trying to tease.. it's only natural to expect such a reaction.. comparing pot to peas doesn't quite work unseen and you know that

- even disregarding the psychological dependency (which is a fact amongst heavy users) you don't have to be dependant on something to care enough to respond to teasing... the fact is that pot use ten times the defining characteristic than eating peas is.. if i were 60 and people said "all sixty year old's do is sit around in depends watching matlock" i probably wouldn't buy their content either

I have been through AA and helped others as well as many in my family battle alcoholism, talked to others and helped many of my friends even put down syringes in serious and life threatening situations. Drug rehab and withdrawal are not easy, and I bet you know nothing of it.

I own a home in Tarzana and before I sold my business, my office was in Tarzana. I have been to Hollywood hundreds of times. There is not much you could show me. I don't dream of a life. My point was you are in my old stomping grounds so there is not alot that you could show me. My home is for sale and in fact is probably on its way to being sold. As you know I now live with and care for my mother and live in a rural area. I don't care for the big city life anymore so I won't be going back.

A friend of mine was a heavy drinker and quit for about two years. He suffered withdrawl and depression and died a few days after his 38th birthday in September this year.

It'll never happen though. Because paying attention to THAT health warning would be about as good for the economy as curing half the people in the world of heart disease with C & lysine.

It's funny how they compare marijuana smoking to tobacco - which is a known killer. That industry of death locks in its lifelong users from 12-25 years old. You would think it would be illegal. But it has as much chance of being made illegal as that bowl of Wheaties(tm) that you think made you a champion. A Champion of the dead & bedridden maybe.

Our ways of passing the buck on to future generations will NEEEEVVER come back to haunt us. Just shaddup, turn on your TV and absorb the next dramatical story. Everything will be, ok it always is.
