in terms of hospitality, arabs are second to none - the friendliest and nicest people in the entire world.

and im shocked to see people from canada saying this kind of dumb shit, i grew up with you people and no one ever said anything like that to my face and as a matter of fact the people i grew up with (mostly white people) never ever even hinted at racism. my friends were white, my family never blinked they never said anything about white people and i was always taught from day 1 that all people are the same.

He wasn't, he looked me dead in the eyes smiled and started screaming "I'm going to kill you you white piece of shit mother fucker" and he said that a few times when the second dude ran from hiding to my passenger window and start screaming the same thing, they were getting closer and about to do something when the dude next to my window saw the child in the back seat and backed off.

There was no mention of an ambulance, but many mentions of killing a "WHITE" person right then and there. So not really sure what the ambulance reference is all about.

IF I was by myself, or if it was a women, elderly person something bad would have happened, and I can assure you that if the person driving the car had an issue with them that had escalated you most certainly would have saw on the media and news something about Arabic people attacking someone. It's just the way it works.

If they were asking for an ambulance I'd have gotten them one lol.

If it was a woman walking down the street and a second woman ran up and was giving me the same deal to my window you'd have the same thread title, but it would say by two women. If they were black, hispanic, arabic, or other, and they made MY RACE an issue, then I would address it as a racist issue.

I had a similar situation 2 weeks ago when a black guy took my parking spot at the grocery store...I shook my head and parked 2 aisles away. The dude ran up to my car before I could get out and banged on the window and started yelling..."YOU GOT A PROBLEM MUTHA FUCKA?!" "Step out whitey!"

Now first, I'm not white...far from it...so this was weird...thought the guy is blind and stupid...but the minute I stepped out of the car and the guy saw my height and build the he backed down...he started walking a way talking shit. I yelled out at him..."Come back...let's talk this out. " LOL

My point is that there are asshole racist fuckers in every country, culture and race but what we can you do other then just blow off those statements or pretty soon you're fighting the world...you did the right thing Rob...just leave and chalk it up to the Idiot of the day...it sucks that you had to experience that with your kid in the car.

A lot of people in Canada are upset with many of these new third world immigrants who come to our country and bring their old ways, customs and hatred along as baggage. They infiltrate various levels of our government and make changes to make it easier to allow more undesirables in. Instead of assimilating in with our established customs and heritage, they attempt to change things to suit themselves (wearing towels on their heads in the RCMP, kids carrying khirpan ceremonial daggers to school, etc.).

Yet when Canadians complain about the lax immigration policies - they're labeled racists or bigots.

My United Empire Loyalist ancestors date back to the 1700s in Canada, and on my mother's Newfie side they date back even farther to the 1400s. Yet...when one of our family has cause to visit the local hospital for something, we're a minority in a sea of third-world immigrants in the waiting room with their 5.3 smelly kids and extended family draining the healthcare system resources.

Have you ever taken public transit bus in Toronto (Scarborough in particular) on a hot summer day when the mercury is around 35-40c? You quickly learn to breathe through your mouth because of the currie and roti stench seeping from their pores. Its almost a visible cloud in the air. Most of them won't politely offer to vacate a seat to an elderly, pregnant or disabled person.

Call it racist if you wish (if third-world people are collectively a "race"). But there's no disputing the observations and factual experiences above.

i wouldn't worry too much about this.. obviously white people are guilty of the very same thing these two yelling gentlemen were apparently guilty for.

I'm a Canadian from Vancouver, and slightly shocked too, but the first step in understanding and accepting people is understanding and accepting them. canadians that threaten violence on a general group of people is definitely not a majority opinion, or a right one.

This is not the first time I've been on the but end of something racist, and it won't be the last I'm sure.

As much as we would all like to live in racial harmony, the world just does not work that way and it's pretty sad. I'm about as open minded as they come and know that it's just part of life that most races look down on others.

Not all people do, not at all.

The tension here in Canada is mildly justified, but then it's not at all.

There are thousands of people coming from third world culture coming here, and being welcomed by the Government with open arms, and there is not a damn thing wrong with that.

These people are living in a world that is fucked up, lots of war, no real police, and terrible things going on, and every PERSON deserves the best right possible.

The main issue is that the people who are coming here are not fully adapting to our system, the way we work, and over all ways of life here.

And it's causing some major issues. In a lot of cities the groups protest different things because they find it to be offensive, nude beaches, I've saw some going on here and people causing a huge headache over mannequins in stores with bikini's and them saying it's offensive to their culture etc. The thing is they are now here and need to adapt to our culture and ways of life.

I've been at the mall, or play lands and have watched a number of times children being hit openly in public, and that don't fly with me, and when I have spoken up about it and say "it's just a child, take it easy" I get someone getting very loud with me about their way of life and then have 4-5 Arabic men giving me a lot of grief.

I've been at Superstore and saw a husband slap his wife across the face because she disciplined their young boy "mohammad" for being out of control. He openly right in the middle of the store slapper her across the face and told her to never raise her voice to a male. Once again, is this really proper?

I understand different lifestyles, and cultures, but when someone is moving to a new country, and given free health care, tax breaks, money to start a new life, I feel they should appreciate everything around them, and also show respect towards the people around them.
