Be careful when doing business with Adult Copywriters - GoFuckYourself.com

Hi

I'm posting this as a warning to all webmasters who intend doing business with Adult Copywriters as I have just had a very bad experience with them.

I've previously used Adult Copywriters, along with many other writers on these boards and whilst the posts were delivered slightly later than expected and the price of the work is higher than most other adult copy writers, for the most part I was pleased with the quality of the work.

Based on this I decided to give them another project of 210 blog posts to write. I dicussed the project with John Falcon from Adult Copywriters and we agred on the paramaters and price of the project, which was that it would take six weeks and half of the posts would be delivered in 3 weeks. I paid my deposit, sent an email with an attachment which contained a few hundred galleries and specifically marked which one's I needed done. I also explained this very clearly in the mail.

Just after 3 weeks the first batch of posts were delivered. It took me day or two to get around to looking at them but when i did, I realised he had delivered 105 gallery posts, but only 20 of them were one's that I had marked. So 85 incorrect ones in total.

I sent an email asking him what was going to be done and did not receive a reply. I sent a few more mails and after about four days he eventually got back to me.

He offered to refund me my money and deliver the remaining (incorrect posts) as well as to allow me to retain rights to the one's already sent. I said this was fair and so the refund went through. This was last week.

A short while ago I contacted Falcon to ask him what had happened to the rest of the posts. I will post the transcript of that conversation in another message below.

Having trouble posting the transcript. I said when can i expect the rest of the posts, he said he changed his mind. An argument ensued in which I was called a piece of shit and told to fuck off. Nice.

My position is that whilst he did refund me my money, he did offer to make good by giving me the rest of the posts. When he changed his mind, he didn't even see fit to let me know.

Some of you may have had different experiences with Adult Copywriters but this was mine and it was very unpleasant.

Due to the fact that I admitted our mistake, the above user got ALL his money back + half the work for FREE. I have done business with hundreds of webmasters in adult and mainstream and never once had any problem of this kind. The above user intended that I give him all the money back(which I did) plus give him ALL the work for free.

If you are a writer or offer any other kind of service, I strong advise you to stay away from this individual. It is not enough that I gave him all his money back, he also wants me to give him the work at no cost.

Just to be clear I never asked John Falcon for the additional posts. HE OFFERED THEM. Then he changed his mind and didn't think it was worth even lettting me know. Is this really fair.

Also, if anyone else on this board, including writers has ever had a bad experience in doing business with me, please feel free to post here.

Micheal,

Money has been sent. I even sent it through a Mass Payment so that you would not have to pay the fees.
You can keep the first 105 posts and do whatever you want with them. You can also keep the next 105 that I will be sending through shortly.

I hope this makes up for your trouble, and I hope you explain to anyone that is aware of our situation that I made amends as best I could given the circumstances.

a) I use falcon for over 6 months now, never a issue never a problem, and is always reachable

b) he did something most wouldnt do, he went ahead gave you money back and work

I tried many writers here, not all but many, falcon is solid as can be

I've known John Falcon personally for years and he's a solid guy.

Don't know what went wrong here, but it does sound reasonable that you don't get ALL the work for free. You got your money back and he even sent some of the work free of charge to make up for this honest mistake? Sounds like a hell of a lot more than some guys around here would do.

My business and personal relationship with John Falcon are among the best I've had out of all the people I've met here on GFY.

Sorry, but this does not sound like a rip off at all: they made a mistake, gave you a prompt full refund no questions asked, delivered part of the work plus you kept those extra posts, what else would you want? This looks just fine in my book, it really did not deserve this post at all.

People can make up their own mind about whether they think your behaviour was professional or not. Maybe they will judge in your favour and in that case, this is good publicity for you.

I agree. John has done some work for me in the past and there has never been a problem. His work is solid and of very high quality.

I was even late paying him on time for a job and he waited patiently until I had things sorted out and paid him. Take your money and free work and be satisfied you got what you got.

It's beyond me that you're bargaining for more than already delivered. Adult Copywriters isn't a huge international conglomerate with 10 offices stationed all over the world, we're a group of competent writers who, for the most part, deliver quality work.

There are literally 100s of posts that have trickle through the main program section where webmasters are screwed out of thousands of dollars by programs and content providers. Not only did we refund you every penny - we provided half of the content you ordered for free. Now, it's very easy to compare the situation to a fast food joint where, if a situation were to arise, you could probably bank on getting your cash back and meal for free. As previously stated, we're not a huge company that banks billions of dollars and can easily provide content for free. It's entirely unreasonable for you to to demand my boss takes two days out of working just to provide a free service for you after he's already done it once.

In all honestly I'm in awe of this whole post, which basically whittles down to:

The work I ordered wasn't delivered properly, I received all of my money back and half of the work for free, I'm not happy.

We are only human. Humans make mistakes and you'd be amazed at how many people don't even own up to it. I'm really sorry if you actually feel like you're the one who's been hard done by - but even from an imitated objective point-of-view, you've still got your cake and eaten it.

We have worked with John for a while on a large project and they have delivered great work with no issues at all - and would and have recommended his services to others.

He admitted a mistake and offered very very good compensation, I think many others would have tried to pass it off and not admit an error, nor offer any compensation so fair play to John for what he offered.

He certainly comes highly recommended by us

John Worked for us almost full time for 2 years + ACW still does many jobs for us.

I know him well and for the rare mistakes he made, he fixed them ASAP and was more than good handling the problems.

John is a pro and he clearly fixed the situation here.. the rest should be dealt offline.

I had the same positive experience with John Falcon when it comes to actual business when I send him work to write.
It always came on time from John and without errors or flaws in spelling or grammar.

Any form of not being absolutely clear as how you want things done in advance whereas the other party understands 100% what you mean, could end up in terrible miscommunication and assumptions (which are the "mother of all fuckups" usually, if you don't mind me using this well know quote, I mean no harm here for you but I will defend Jonh's reputation).

Thank you for a very civil response. Just to clarify, I was very clear about what I wanted upfront and that was not delivered.

As to claims by other forum members that I'm being greedy or not grateful. What I got back is not the point, it's what i didn't get that was promised to me. I've been in business for 20 years and the one thing I've learnt is that your word is paramount.

If you say you're going to make good by doing something, then keep your word. If you can't then communicate with the person or company in question and explain why. John Falcon didn't keep his word and didn't bother to let me know.

Can you honestly say that's professional?

I have to say that in my honest opinion he's a stand-up guy and one of the few remaining honest individuals i have the honor of working with in this industry!

You do realize your site is basically a complete rip off of adultcopywriters? Everything from the site name, to the meta titles to the way the site is laid out to how his services are named an organized.

He's a damn fine writer, that turned out 120 posts for me in a few days, all excellent quality and half the price of Adult Copywriters. I highly recommend him.

Most any site that you got to that offers Adult Copywriting services is going to look pretty much the same.

If you don't like my site due to the fact that i don't have the equivalent capital to that of ACW so I can give you alot of eye appealing flash images to look at and whatnot, don't visit it!
