Why does the location of the person being shot make a difference if it's murder or not? If you're throwing rocks from any location at the military or police, in any country - it's not ever going to be murder. Are you actually reading what you write?

It matters because under the Border Treaty the US has with Mexico for our agent to be in Mexico for any reason is a violation of that treaty and is an illegal act. If the agent was in Mexico then it could be murder even if he was just defending himself. Just like if you are robbing a bank and the secuirty guard pulls his weapon to shoot you. If you kill him it is murder because you did it while in the commision of a crime regardless of the fact that he was going to kill you.

I am reading alot of posts where people are making a judgement with out all the facts ... that is always a bad thing no matter which side you take.

I feel sad that a 14 year old boy has lost his life .. that is just a terrible thing for any reason.

I am afraid things are going to get much worse before they get any better because I think a majority of Americans are pretty much fed up with illegal immigrants. I know I am.

I have lived in San Diego for 13 years and there are parts of town that you can't even find someone who speaks English not to mention all the community resources they use and do not even help pay for because they mosty work under the table and do not pay any taxes. And then they don't even help the local ecomomy because most of the money they make goes to Mexico.

12 years ago I found myself between jobs and without health insurance ... I had a heart attack. I got great medical attention but I could not pay and the hospital took my house (20% down payment and 7 years of equity..... gone). In that same year San Diego county paid 34 million dollars for the medical care and treament of illegal aliens. If I would have been an illegal ... my medical expense would have been covered. No such luck for a hard working LEGAL RESIDENT.
