We didn't use them as human shields, it's what they become when you hand out food/water to them in areas that you would normally be attacked. I'm simply stating what the reality of what they are - you're the one acting as if we held them up to take bullets for us.

off topic but I wore the new helmets and body armor the military have this week, and man, thats some nice shit. My cousin is in town for a week and had his gear with him, told him he gotta get me one, he laughed and said that will be very hard... he said hed been shot with 9mm and it just pings off LOL rock wouldnt even be felt LOL

The first statement by the FBI also said this was what was told to them, and they're looking into it - that's very far from lies.

If we sent our soldiers to Afghanistan in a nice brown sport jacket, would you not deem them incompetent for the job at hand?

They're told what to do, just like you were and just like you in Iraq. And just like Iraq, and all over the news - you didn't have the proper equipment either - and neither do they - however it isn't the Army's fault or BP's fault - they don't control that at all.

Anyway, I went and looked up the type of equipment they have.. they do have helmets, they have like riot type gear - which does take damage from rocks.

Guess when police get killed with riot gear on, from rocks and bottles - it's the police's fault too.

Being "told what to do" is completely irrelevant. It doesn't make the BP or those in the military without the proper gear any less incompetent for the job. If you don't have the gear, you can't do the job. If your mechanic doesn't have a tool set, he is incompetent.

This is going to be one of a number of things that's going to lead to war with Mexico. You watch. Their drug war - which they've already lost - is going to spill over our border. We already know it's coming. Combine this with the growing frustration over illegal immigration, new state laws like in Arizona, and then a few minor border shootings... Presto, war.

BTW, check to see where most of the oil imported to the US comes. I think Mexico is second, after Canada.

Again the solution here is if the Mexican government mans the fuck up and destroys the small monopolistic mafia that pimps their economy. It's a fucking oligopoly that fucks the economy and pushes many to be illegal immigrants. The US can help a lot by stopping its crying and help Mexico open its economy further. A rich mexico = the solution. Anything less is like chewing gum while the house burns down.

I'm not talking about the agent, I'm talking about the department... they're told what to do from Homeland Security and maybe ICE and the funds provided come from the Fed and through the State. BP has nothing to do with it, they can only make suggestions.

You just need or want someone to blame, at any point, for what you call murder.. I see your point of view clearly.

The agents don't have a choice just like you didn't have a choice which equipment you used. For all we know they have gear that would stop this, but that doesn't mean the agent has access to it - just like you didn't have access to the best gear.
