Sorry man, but I disagree. Expanding on my last post, webmasters are more socially inept than sociopaths.

That is very not cool when there are viable legal options.

Hell, it still wouldn't be cool in general.

AHHH the "sister company" aka "trusted 3rd party" routine. I think we have all heard this one before too. Epass is just trying to distance it self from the customers by pointing everyone else in other directions ie (deal with the bank they removed the balances for VV and is the problem, talk to our "sister company" to handle the wires....

Lets take a stroll down memory lane:

To iBill EU merchants

You will have received notification from iBill of the planned role for the International e.Commerce Association (Inteca) to act as the trusted third party in bringing your account up to date
and ensuring you receive all due funds in the future on your iBill account.

This agreement is not final as yet, but we believe it can be completed very soon. In order to not delay the settlement of your funds, we are asking all merchants to reconcile the amount due to
them as at the end of business February 28th, 2005.

We will provide each merchant a unique password with which you can access the data in this regard. You will also see the release document that will need signing in order for the funds to be
sent, via Inteca, to your bank account. Please respond to this email with your iBillEU sponsored merchant identification number (SMID) and we will send you a password.

We will give you further information as to the payment terms as you confirm the balances due.

Sincerely,

International e.Commerce Association (Inteca)
http://www.inteca.org
What was it Inteca, Intelligate... promise of "notes" blah blah... it was all bullshit Ibill used to point people in other directions. Much like what is about to happen here. Chris Mallick, top notch, stand up guy. How many times has he made public announcements? 0. Epass stopped answering their phones, they aren't sending out wires either. Chris is hidding or at the very least avoiding everyone. Where is the money??? very top notch.

How many times are you people going to fall for this shit, if it smells like shit it means you just stepped in it.

I hear what you are saying. In this case though, the communication is internal... an email from company A and a followup from the same person but at company B.

Two things scare me. I don't know if they know what type of run is going to happen if they do get it up and running. And the second is all the reports about st kitts seem to indicate they have cash flow issues.

I think we are going to see a similar situation that we had with the epassporte wires. There will be some payments but not all. Which is why I feel a group effort could be beneficial.

Btw the total of the group is over $2mil right now. Crazy stuff.

I won't have any more news until Monday. We'll have to wait and see how they react to a legal letter. I'm hoping it gets us in touch with someone at the top that can make things happen for us all.
Shap in motion Go get em!

I love how everyone in this thread is posting their amounts so freely yet if you ever asked any of you fuckers how much you actually make in this business you'd all clam up like a gang-banged pussy. LOL

But now, it's like "I got five grand! I got eight grand! I got fifteen grand!!" Thanks for letting us all know who the real "playas" are round here and who's some un-important (to epassports) under-a-grand dog. :D

got 21.5 k locked up and would be on pooling money for a good lawyer.

We did a similar thing when bankcrozier went to hell: http://www.bankcroziergd.com/

One guy did the same thing as you're doing now, gathered all account holders affected and pooled money to hire pricewaterhousecoopers. We paid about 200 usd each, but never saw any money

i dont know what any of you are worried about now. it's clear that sknb's objective here is to steal epass's business. you will all get your money, and you will all use the new bank, and they will in the end fuck you all again. the sponsors won't touch this situation though. not without making an affiliate agree to the possibility of not getting paid at all if they use the service. sponsors will indemnify themselves from now on when using any of these shady pay services.

I successfully contacted SKNANB through email and much to my surprise they responded my mail in a matter of hours. So I'm actually kinda optimistic, I have less than $1K in my VV but I still need my money. Here's what they answered me...

Quote:
Thank you for your email.

St Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited (SKNANB) is committed to adhering to Visa's stringent program requirements and maintaining the integrity of the global payment network. On instruction of SKNANB, on September 23rd, 2010, ePassporte's network access for cards issued by SKNANB was disabled. As a result, SKNANB prepaid cardholders will not be able to view their card balances through the ePassporte.com website.

SKNANB is actively working to restore, as soon as possible, SKNANB prepaid cardholders' ability to get information regarding their Visa card balances and to obtain access to all their Visa card funds. SKNANB prepaid cardholders can expect further communication from SKNANB on or before September 30th 2010. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your SKNANB prepaid card, please contact SKNANB at [email protected]. In addition, a dedicated telephone line will be setup shortly for customers to call.

SKNANB appreciates your continued patience.

St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited
You guys draw your own conclussions.

not sure if this helps but i spoke to someone from Payoneer in Amsterdam and he said the money is indeed safe since it's under control of Visa and they can't simply keep it. it will be released, it's just a question when.

???? To the best of my knowledge. Your money is under control of (and held by) the bank! Visa is just a trade organization of sorts. Non-profit at that.

I am sorry to interject some reality to the situation, and I know I won't win friends with this post, but I really hate to see people misled and waste money.

As I said way back on the first page, this thread was over dramatic and pointless until people clarified the settlement or reactivation procedure with the bank.

When the bank opened next day, they immediately indicated their intent to restore access to balance information and funds, and have given an indication of date when they believe that will be possible which is pretty reasonable considering what is involved.

IF the bank do not believe that they are able to pay what is owing to people (who can prove their identity), then no end of chest beating and ambulance chasing lawyer instructing will change that, no matter how many of you join with Robin Hood Shap.

They won't settle loudest first and continue on a first come first served basis until the money is gone, it will be all or none, because showing preference is also an offence in insolvency/bankruptcy which I don't think will be the case here but would be the ONLY reason you wouldn't get paid out....if you were able to prove your identity of course.

Good initiative, I still have some money on VV (around $600) and also some on the wallet.

Just before they disabled the VV I transferred funds to other Epass accounts of studios, amateur models and affiliates by the business account.

All that money is now somewhere in frozen ebanking space.

Also keep in mind that if yes we all getting our money back a lot of people experienced problems and damages on their side and this has enough coverage to sue the bank, VISA or Epass!

Maybe that is also something you can discuss with your lawyer if there are some changes to claim.

I dont see personally how Visa would be at fault in this, they just put their brand on the cards after agreeing to work with the bank, but they dont control the money in any way. If the Bank comes through and gives us access to the money then it clears them of any wrong doing. So it leaves Epass ... and i agree, no company should get away that easy after doing something like this ,whatever problems they had i am sure they were given a deadline to fix them , they didnt, they should be held responsible for the damage they made to people who trusted their service.

I'm not to known who is here the faulty one but indeed some is responsible and should to pay for it, lots of people/companies are damaged and if there is some collective case it will only makes it stronger to get compensated.

Shap,

I got this message today and my VV balance is not available as your lawyer said anything about this. Looks like epass is trying to wash their hands off the VV accounts. Hope people took some screenshots ;-)

Dear ePassporte Account Holders

St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, without our prior knowledge, has turned off the ability for ePassporte to access or display Account Holders' Visa Card balances. This means that when you login to your ePassporte Account, you will only be able to see your Wallet balance. As a consequence, inquiries regarding your Visa Card balance must be directed to St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank. St Kitts Bank is responsible for all funds on Visa Cards. Their contact information is as follows:

St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd.

Central Street,
P.O. Box 343
Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies

Tel: (869) 465-2204 Mon - Thurs: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Fri: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Fax: (869) 465-1050
Email: [email protected]

ePassporte will continue to provide support with regard to the funds in your Wallet. We kindly ask for your patience as we must verify Accounts and balances manually.

Thank You,

ePassporte Account Holder Services
