With the stuff out there, there is no longer a need to rip it, and the goods(Watermarked, and all pointing to the site of course) will become marketing tools.

The few out there that will take them for their own money making uses, are a minority who are easy to track and prosecute in comparison with the people the industry is going after now.

It's rather futile as well. Let me illustrate:

I am Joe Blow, and download a juicy vid that was ripped from the In the VIP member area, and I quite loved it.

The next week a attorney letter drops on my door saying that the owners of In the VIP are suing me for the illegal downloading of their stuff. Now that's a company I will certainly buy a membership from

NOT! My sentiments would be GFY, I will never ever purchase your stuff, not even if you're the last porn provider on earth.

So not only will you be fighting a battle you can't win(See my other replies, for my reasons of thinking this), you also successfully alienated a possible buyer.

This is the same for the Music and Movie industry. Their actions are more and more causing the drop in sales.

wolfshade, consider this: if I created a tube or torrent site dedicated to ripped live shows, let the "users" upload and share with others, then put my ads on the website to sell other products. Maybe thousands others will do the same and in the end all live shows end up available for free minutes after they are finished.
The Live Show sites will react the same way (if not, point me to one who allows it) as the producers of pictures/movies today. Would it be fair, if I just said "adapt or die", "you can't stop it". Of course not, but the logic goes both ways, right?

I don't think you get the big picture and think long enough into future here. First of all, no economy can survive if everyone are stealing from another. Second, the websites hosting torrents or fileuploads are not doing it for "free". They live off by selling ads, bandwidth and by scaring their users to buy fake privacy services. But if everyone jumps off the websites and into real free encrypted networks, then all income is lost for these websites too. Maybe that's a good thing, because it will cut off some motives and reduce the sharing. I think most producers today prefer pirates hiding underground, rather than the "business" models today.

I'm in the trenches fighting piracy every fucking day of my life for the couple of years or so, sending thousands of DMCAs, coordinating efforts with other producers, webmasters and content protection companies etc etc. I know first hand what piracy is, and the scale of it and how hard it is to fight it within the current legal environment.

People who're doing real industry job and real fight on piracy, do always have concrete answers, unlike pro-piracy surfers spouting nonsense about "old ladies" whose feeling are hurt, or bubbling some vague theories about "getting ahead of the game" while being unable to explain wtf exactly they're talking about.

No sir you should re-read my original reply as I was not talking about promoting your vids to to sell access to your member areas for more vids I am talking about focusing on LIVE material(Like those cam spots). Use vids to promote that.

Ergo, if Pornhub wouldn't make sales how do they make money?

For the record I have owned paysites, and I have produced content as well and my "theory" has already been proven in chatrooms, on Facebook type sites and other social places where giving the free stuff resulted in sales to the live stuff.

Then you would be in the wrong, and in a position where it is very profitable for the rightful owners of the content to milk you for any penny you got, as opposed to the Joe Blows they are suing now.

Different ball game and definitely a fight one can win.

But I guess in a few months when my shit is up and running we will have the answer though. I do have some content lying around I own and I intend to use it as I previously posted. We will see what it does to sales

Palm Beach and all points in between. Left the band in 1986 and formed "D-Tour". In 1987
formed the band "Silent Partner" and signed with Fantasma Productions, Inc. and continued
to play before thousands of people 7 days a week up and down the East Coast.

1988-1993
Joined the South Carolina based band "SUBWAY" in late '88. Moved to Myrtle Beach, SC.
Subway was the number 1 band with Showtime Entertainment, Inc. and traveled the
entire country. Moved to Atlanta, GA. SUBWAY disbanded in late 1990. Moved to Columbia, SC and the remaining members including Robbie
formed a band called "THE ESSENCE" which became the houseband at the SHANGRI-LA
rock club in Columbia, SC and later took the house job at the DYNASTY rock club in
Augusta, GA.
In 1991 Robbie returned to Florida and formed a band out of Orlando, FL. called
"SWEET MERCY". After playing a couple of months in Florida working with OMNI
Entertainment, Inc. Robbie took the band to Showtime and CMC Entertainment and once
again began touring the country.
In 1993 the bottom fell out of the club scene. Drinking laws became stricter and
people started listening to Rap and stopped coming out to clubs. It had become
an industry that was no longer viable for a band or a booking agent to be able to
fill 7 days a week. So Robbie moved to Easley, SC and hooked up with local Greenville,SC
band THE OATH.

1994-1998
Played with the Oath and the band actually defied the odds and were able to work more
than just weekends! Actually began touring from Florida to Maryland at a time when most
bands were packing it in! In '98 Robbie decided that 20 years was long enough and "retired".

1999-2002
In late '99 Robbie, now fully re-charged began putting out "feelers" to see if perhaps
he might want to play again. Joined local Greenville band KID COLT. After a stint as
the house band at De Walkers in Greenville the band began playing all around the Upstate area of South Carolina. In 2002 the band re-tooled itself and was re-named "TRAILER
PARK TRASH". The band had a very successful run and was playing steadily until...
TRAGEDY BEFELL ROBBIE!
On May 12th 2002 Robbie was in his Jeep Wrangler when it flipped 7 times! Robbie's neck
was broken as well as both arms. It was uncertain whether he would be paralyzed. Robbie
spent most of the month in the hospital and on May 29th finally came home. Barely able to
walk and sporting a neck brace and two full arm casts it was a very discouraging time.
Determined to come back Robbie began going to the gym everyday and piece by piece,
little by little began putting himself back together. In July the neck brace was removed as
well as the arm casts and Robbie began seriously re-habbing his broken body. Robbie had
dropped from 205 pounds to a weak 183! But by August Robbie had miraculously re-gained
all his weight and former physique by working through the pain at the gym. In August
of 2002 Robbie defied all the odds and returned to the stage with the Oath! After performing with The Oath through November of 2002 Robbie had to regretfully step aside because of conflicts in scheduling.

2003-2008
March 2003 sees Robbie deciding to come back out and play live again! Recruiting Tony G, who was formerly of The Oath/Party of Four Band, Robbie also got Claudia for lead vocals and formed a trio with the drums and bass sequence This trio had an extremely successful run throughout the Southeast.

2008-???

Sept. 2008 Robbie finally leaves the Southeastern U.S. and moves to Las Vegas! Purchasing an old VS-2480 Roland 24 track studio which replaces his Pro Tools studio set up, Robbie begins working again on original music. And now he and Claudia-Marie are busy shooting music videos for their music and playing occassional gigs in Las Vegas.

We already do cams. And we already stream our own cam show every week all in-house with no 3rd party.

And "have owned" doesn't mean much in what we are facing today.In case you didn't notice all the studios, sites, programs, etc. cutting production, firing employees, and even going out of business And yes, I'm already doing everything you described. Been ahead of the curve on every facet. That's why I still do well.

But I'm not blind and I see how drastically decreased things are. And while doing social networking and live interaction is the only way to survive this shit on a day to day basis...the money being made is a FRACTION of what it once was in this business.

Owning a paysite a few years ago compared to what is happening right now can not be compared.

Please understand that guys like me are doing everything to monetize the current situation. And NOW we are also actively doing something about piracy. And it IS working.

Unless you are right here looking at my numbers and talking to my people then you are just theorizing what will and won't work.

I had 99% of paysite owners tell me two years ago that protecting my content "wouldn't work" too. It would be "hacked", it would "piss off my members"

Guess what? It worked. And claudia-marie.com just had the most successful month of all times this month (sept.), and that is saying something.

Meanwhile...as an affiliate to other programs...I can barely make a sale because their entire members areas are ripped.

Change is coming. One way or another. And I'm going to do everything I can to facilitate it. And your comments that insinuate I'm wasting my time are THEORETICAL. I'm the one doing it and seeing the results. You are the one making theories.

If you really want to speak with authority, then open a paysite NOW and see what happens.

Yes in the short term this will hurt affiliates web cam sales. But the recovering of paysite sales will soon replace that.

The other two scenes are old ones that I originally put on the site as .wmv's in 2007 when we first opened. Those old .wmv's are the ones I send removeyourcontent after. The first year we did things the way they were always done.

Then when I saw what was happening I stopped it. Took a lot of work, research and testing. But quite frankly stopping our new scenes from being available for free almost instantly was the best thing I ever did financially.

The final straw came when we shot our first DP scene. I just KNEW it was gonna kick ass on new sales. I put it up. And ONE HOUR later it was all over the torrents and file share sites.

That's when I went to work.

And again, you can theorize this and theorize that. I'm telling you what happened.

If it didn't work...I would have done something else. I try everything and I move fast. I listen to what people say and I test it myself. I'm a one man show and a hard working quick working person.

So trying to google up our content is a joke to me. I do it everyday. Checking links, seeing what's out there. And in over 2 years there is not ONE high quality/high res version of our new vids. Not one.

If you don't think that isn't a game changer, then all I can say is that is theorizing. I see the numbers.

First of all, no economy can survive if everyone are stealing from another. Second, the websites hosting torrents or fileuploads are not doing it for "free". They live off by selling ads, bandwidth and by scaring their users to buy fake privacy services. But if everyone jumps off the websites and into real free encrypted networks, then all income is lost for these websites too. Maybe that's a good thing, because it will cut off some motives and reduce the sharing. I think most producers today prefer pirates hiding underground, rather than the "business" models today.
