A XXXMas Story

Donny wants only one thing for XXXmas, a Nikon D3x Camera, as he tells anyone and everyone that will listen "You need a pro camera to shoot high end porn and make more money than people make shooting amateur porn", but everyone tells him that is out of his budget and the content he is shooting of frightened uncomfortable looking models is not going to pay for such a high end camera and no one really wants to works with him anymore. So Donny goes searching for a way to make enough cheese to afford such a sweet hi end point and shoot camera.

After deciding porn will not pay the bills as well as religion, Donny begins a series of episodic adventures that dangle the object of his desire deliriously close but still out of reach. At one point Donny's tongue is frozen to the vagina of an underage female while his friend the town Sheriff, a SWAT member, shoots the action with a D3.

Finally, Donny finds that owning the Nikon is not as great as having other people that own them point and shoot them at him when he becomes the center of a media firestorm over the scandal of being a pornographer turned preacher that baits underage girls for the purposes of sex with his pal the town Sheriff.

In a voice over at the end, Donny admits that religion made him way better at being sexually deviant and taking advantage of people.

many, many people have tried to help Donny in many ways, because Donny is a great guy and fun to be around on the surface however there are real issues underneath that I don't perceive resolving into a person of any worth.

it is my firm belief that Donny is a 'Jim Jones' in the works, maybe just not smart enough to pull it off, but definitely looking down that road... the best we can hope for as a society is protection from Donny in the form of a long term prison sentence and chemical castration.

It's worth considering that sociopaths are more often than not, "great guys". They are almost always confident, intelligent and funny. They understand how to manipulate others, how to gain the trust of others, how to use others to their ends, how to fake the normal emotions of others and so on.

Sociopaths are also great public speakers - this is because they do not experience the emotions and fears tat others do which makes them poor public speakers. They don't experience embarrassment or shame or insecurity. They think they are awesome, hence,... their confidence Aand so on, which combined ironically makes them the best public speakers.

I feel like this industry has been little more than a parade of deeply disturbed people, often openly lying, robbing and cheating their way along with a large contingent of followers makin it known that they are "great guys".

Additionally, even the worst examples of humanity have a few friends which they treat very differently than they do the rest of the world. Just because Jefrrey Dahmer said please and thank you are certain people doesn't mean he was mentally healthy.

I'm always interested in watching these things play out and noting how dishonest with ourselves that we are. For myself, I feel like you could read almost any post he's made here and see watniningg signs of a troubled person. He even brought his breakup to this board - he then got super vicious as I recall. I remember thinking at the time "oh, his over riding concern is not what happened but how others perceive him". Most people would have simply took some personal time to reflect, grieve and heal but his first move was to create a public spectacle and try to embarrass and attack his ex and the 3rd party. He did that kind of thing for the same reason he's hovng jailhouse interviews right now. Over rising any common sense is the urge to attempt to control the story, others perceptions of him and to manipulate.

At the Department Store Thanksgiving Day parade, the former porn producer playing Santa is discovered to be drunk by the Sheriff. Despite reassurances by Donny's friends on GFY that he is harmless, McElf still has misgivings, especially when he has cynically trained himself, and especially his daughter, Susan, to reject all notions of belief and fantasy. And yet, people, especially Susan, begin to notice there is something special about Donny and his determination to preach to her specifically in the evenings at special "services" they have all alone. When a raucous conflict with a cruelly incompetent judge erupts, Donny finds himself held in prison where, in despair, he deliberately fails a mental examination to ensure his commitment. All seems lost until McElf's friend, Rev. Freddy Gaily, reassure Donny of his worth and agrees to represent him in the fight to secure his release. To achieve that, Freddy arranges a formal hearing in which he argues that Donny is sane because he is in fact Santa Claus and plus everyone else is a lunatic and a criminal, especially the young girls. What ensues is a bizarre hearing in which people's beliefs are reexamined and put to the test, but even so, it's going to take a debacle for Donny to win!

Miracle on 69th St

In a pious Christian community in Northern California no one can believe that Donny Pauling really used to be an actual pornographer. He is way too good and godly. Donny wants to have the perfect Christmas holiday to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus. There are some very sick people in this world. It could be that the jail commander knew Donny was a sexual predator and then thought he would be able to trust him to keep it quiet in order to enact his own fantasies. It could have been his fantasy (as sick as it is) to watch his female relative get screwed by another man.

I don't know much about Donny other than the little I've read here but it could also be that he is just crazy and came up with this crazy story as revenge.

Usually the latter scenario is the most probable. However that bail amount is very high and it seems unlike the police to go out of their way to charge one of their own without having considerable evidence. Then again it could be that someone making the decisions has a grudge against him too.

And yet another side to this- 16/17 is about the age where children might start feeling a sort of "screw it" attitude where they wouldn't be afraid to speak out about being abused by family members. Especially one with authority.

Actually in Donny's case religion probably has played a part in making him the fuck up he is today. His father is a minister, I forget what Christian denomination but I think evangelical of some sort - there's a lot of very weird shit to deal with if you're an intelligent kid and Donny is fairly intelligent.

One could also just as easily make the argument that religion probably helped him in that being in the environment he was/is in, caused him to better manage his mental disorder(s).

If i had to bet, I would guess that Donny's father shares the same mental issues that Donny has. Not learned, not the product of environment, but heritable personality traits that all point towards psychopathy (namely megalomania), sociopathy, anti social personality disorder and narcissism. His father may have been 100% sincere in his practice of religion and in his beliefs. Or as i've said, hyper-religiosity can also simply be a symptom of several mental disorders. Donny clearly is not hyper religious or sincere in his religious beliefs. Regardless, they both likely reveled in their ability to get everyone to gather in front of them and listen intently, as they position themselves as Gods anointed representative on earth.

What better place to take refuge for a psychopath or sociopath than by surrounding themselves with a community where "forgiveness is next to Godliness" and where its accepted that we all "sin", we all need forgiveness and its everyone's responsibility to get that person back on track? It's the perfect place for a nutjob to hide in plain sight.

I would guess that Donny found "religion" right after Belinda dumped him and he was already failing in this biz and that what seems to at a minimum, be narcissistic personality disorder drove him to doing something where he could be in the spotlight, be an unchallenged authority and get him more personal attention than he could manage and put himself in a position to manipulate and victimize others.

On a lighter note........the baby Jesus forgives everyone.......including child molesters.
