If Damian had the balls to come to Brno he would see we're doing fine, not rich and not poor. Got a steady income, made $4500 last month and this month will be better, already pass $3k. Nothing to boast about and could never live on that alone. Still not going to starve.

I've had 30 years of living the dream. Taking pictures of nude women, fucking a few and making a very good living doing it. Ended up married to the best woman in the world, which is why people like Porno Jew and Damian get me mad when they have a go at her. Me I don't care, neither does Eva. No tell me how you get 100 views on a Tube and 5 sales or something equally crazy. Everyone knows the picture. Tubes sell traffic at crap prices, because it's not worth any more. If traffic is king, the kingdom is skint.

What you have to remember is my POV. I remember the days when Private flew a crew to shoot porn in Bali, Thailand, New Zealand, rented huge castles. When movies like the one Max shot were normal for many. When a magazine would pay $2,000 for a solo girl set, as a norm. And one decent video title sold 10,000 times in the US alone, every month and with rental on top.

The great days are over. Some of you were here in the good days and they're over.

Damian goes on and on about split testing. Like it's a solution. It's like a dumb fisherman thinking if he throws his hook in one place and then another and then another, he'll get it right in the end. Anyone with a clue knows you have to start with a basic knowledge of the product you're marketing, market conditions and customer you're marketing too. Re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic isn't making a lot of difference.

Jel's site sucks, because he can't afford to put decent content into it. His site says everything about him.

TC's shooter has a real problem with lighting, something I pointed out a long time ago. It's not fixed. Has he told his shooter to fix it? Affiliates hit that site and see what it's like, the good ones know that it will not do the best with their traffic. The bad ones will throw some traffic at it and will soon learn. And when he posts it here, no one has the brains to think it through. We would be losing money giving 1/3 of our studio shooting staff, camera, equipment, time and studio to shoot exclusive sets for him at $300 a pop. Assuming when he said inexpensive he meant $300 and not lower.

Yes when this part of porn is heavily dominated by people working from home with 0 to little costs, they assume everyone else can. Our operation was like so many other offline shooters and cold never be supported by shooting cheap custom work. We had to shoot for a better paying market. To pay the bills.

If Eva and I had been working from home, shooting on the cheap and unable to shoot for the better paying end. Then we could or would shoot custom sets for $300 to what ever. We were better than that, so didn't and to be honest couldn't.

When I got to adult online I was surprised at the way it was run and some of the people in it. Look at DVTimes, for instance. No need to expand on that one. Then Damian, he says he's in marketing yet his attempt at marketing himself is appalling. Then Jel. And TC DVTimes sites and shooting are a joke, unless you bought a membership there. Damian goes on and on about split testing. Like it's a solution. It's like a dumb fisherman thinking if he throws his hook in one place and then another and then another, he'll get it right in the end. Anyone with a clue knows you have to start with a basic knowledge of the product you're marketing, market conditions and customer you're marketing too. Re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic isn't making a lot of difference. Jel's site sucks, because he can't afford to put decent content into it. His site says everything about him. TC's shooter has a real problem with lighting, something I pointed out a long time ago. It's not fixed. Has he told his shooter to fix it? Affiliates hit that site and see what it's like, the good ones know that it will not do the best with their traffic. The bad ones will throw some traffic at it and will soon learn. Traffic is very important. RIGHT UP TO the minute it hits the site. Then it's all about the tour and his isn't good enough. A professional would know that. Yes online content in general sucks. Getting the exposure right doesn't make it great porn. If it is great content, then why aren't the shooters or sponsors selling it offline. Leaving money on the table guys. Or simply, not good enough. Then Online Adult Marketing. Yes I don't understand it. I don't understand why you call it marketing. Back to the fisherman. He throws in some bait to attract some fish, they come, he throws in his hook with his bait and hopes one will bite it instead of the free stuff. Well we have 100s and 1,000s of people throwing in free bait and the odds on hooking a fish gets worse and worse. And surfers aren't a s dumb as fish, they learn fast. and after 12 years of selling successfully online and making more than most of you ever will. I'm the butt of your clever remarks. The cost of delivering the product to the customer in no way reflect the price we charge. iTunes, Pornhub, all the sites giving away free content pay what for traffic? Paysites pay how much? Free water analogy used by fools. When we go to the supermarket to get our paid for bottled water, we do not have to struggle through 100s of people giving us free bottled water. When we pay for the bottled water we don't pay 50% of that price to support the people outside the supermarket giving away free bottled water. The customer pays for people like Damian, Jel, porno jew and so many others. And the customer has had enough of it. As I type this the banner at the top of the page is from Pimproll selling their traffic. Well the customer is saying no to paying for them. Slowly but surely. And online adult has no idea how to get out of the mess but poke fun at someone who tells you, you're fucked.
