The pirates are now sending poorly worded cease and desist notices about StopFileLockers.com to Cloudflare.
Someone using the pseudonym "Candie Vessler" [email protected] has today emailed several CloudFlare contacts asking that they disconnect us. Quote:

There's an interesting thread about avoiding getting caught here:
http://www.wjunction.com/102-file-ho...filehost-3.htm |
Moogie. Why you no pay your hard working affiliates? Why you become persona non grata at WarezJunction? This is no way to run a successful legitimate file host.

Intersting article arguing for what is essentially AK's approach to dealing with piracy:
http://musictechpolicy.wordpress.com...rporate-level/ |
looks like there are still some payment processors working for filesharing pests
moneybookers is accepting payments from [email protected] for fileband.com so are premiumissuer.com http://www.premiuminrupees.com http://filesharingaccounts.com/ http://www.hotfilepremiumstore.com business as usual |
Rudy Corella, why have you sequestered yourself from this enlightening thread?
Based on the the below publication claiming your angelic innocence , we would appreciate you returning to the stand for additional cross examination. :) http://i.imgur.com/oT6W4.jpg |

Unsure if related, but I am lately getting a lot of new guys with vpn registering the pay per free (CPA per lead) program, and doing lots of accounts themselves; I mean daily... plus some sending real traffic but from spam bots and getting mailed by networks they spam "please terminate this affiliate id", and one said they spammed warez sites before with same bot; finally lots of carders who could have carded those file lockers as fake users of own uploaded content, previously. Again it could be not related, just no increase of new legit affiliates so it is not a general increase of popularity of the program, but so many self-create accounts and spammy type of proxy-ish affiliates growing after summer esp in past 30 days it seems whole villages in Bangladesh signing-up from proxy, it looks like they came from somewhere else who stopped to pay them, whatever it was. |

I also got this from paypal a few hours ago. Anything to do with the shit-storm AK is kicking up!? Paypal seems to be in CYA Mode. I havent read the whole thing yet but it appears they are trying to limit and or control the way people can sue them? PayPal recently posted a new Policy Update which includes changes to the PayPal User Agreement. The update to the User Agreement is effective November 1, 2012 and contains several changes, including changes that affect how claims you and PayPal have against each other are resolved. You will, with limited exception, be required to submit claims you have against PayPal to binding and final arbitration, unless you opt out of the Agreement to Arbitrate (Section 14.3) by December 1, 2012. Unless you opt out: (1) you will only be permitted to pursue claims against PayPal on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action or proceeding and (2) you will only be permitted to seek relief (including monetary, injunctive, and declaratory relief) on an individual basis. You can view this Policy Update by logging in to your PayPal account. To log in to your account, go to https://www.paypal.com and enter your member log in information. Once you are logged in, look at the Notifications section on the top right side of the page for the latest Policy Updates. We encourage you to review the Policy Update to familiarize yourself with all of the changes that have been made. |
It's funny, the arm chair lawyers and piracy apologists at WJunction have been applying pressure where ever they can to attempt to shut down the Stop File Lockers web site.
Are they really so dumb to believe shutting down a website will halt our work against piracy ? It appears so They claim that our articles about child pornography being present on file lockers are illegal: Quote:
Firstly, we're doing nothing illegal or immoral, which is not something I can say about the pirates. Secondly, the Stop File Lockers website is only the means by which we report some updates, there would be zero impact on our campaign if it went down. The only effect of it going down would be that the pirates lose a window into which they can look to see what we are doing. |
It is obvious your work is crushing them. if you were doing anything illegal paypal and the rest would not have been affected by you.
Thank you, AK. Really glad you are here. |
Back to square one.
http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/201...gaupload-mega/ What Mega and Megaupload do have in common is that they are both one-click, subscriber-based cloud platforms that allow customers to upload, store, access, and share large files. Dotcom, and his Mega partner Mathias Ortmann say the difference is that now those files will first be one-click-encrypted right in a client?s browser, using the so-called Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm. The user is then provided with a second unique key for that file?s decryption. It will be up to users, and third-party app developers, to control access to any given uploaded file, be it a song, movie, videogame, book, or simple text document. Internet libertarians will surely embrace this new capability. And because the decryption key is not stored with Mega, the company would have no means to view the uploaded file on its server. It would, Ortmann explains, be impossible for Mega to know, or be responsible for, its users? uploaded content ? a state of affairs engineered to create an ironclad ?safe harbor? from liability for Mega, and added piece of mind for the user. .... One of the more unique wrinkles of the new service may come from Mega?s decision not to deploy so-called de-duplication on its servers, meaning that if a user decides to upload the same copyright-infringing file 100 times, it would result in 100 different files and 100 distinct decryption keys. Removing them would require 100 takedown notices of the type typically sent by rights holders like movie studios and record companies. |

Who will Mega and Megaupload use to process? |
Found this link through PimpRoll's forum - Thousands of JAV videos. Many appear to be DTI related/

They are using Avangate (a rogue processor) and FashionPay a front for all sorts of dodgy stuff. These will both be dealt with when Visa and Mastercard act to have the acquirers terminate merchant agreements. |
Some news
1st-files.com have had their Paypal account terminated muchshare.net have lost their processing account with Regnow And also the following piracy sites which were using Paypal to accept "donations" got their accounts terminated: wowebook.be gxcandals.com zkito.com |
I've noticed on the WJunction forum there are a number of people making astounding claims about how we operate.
Quote:
We don't need to upload files to file lockers, there are already plenty of examples of illegal and infringing files on them. Just a simple search of filestube.com will bring tens of thousands of examples of infringements and thousands of examples of potentially illegal content. Then there is the campaign of emails to our web hosting providers, Paypal and others. (None of which has been effective and none of which will stop us from operating). The claim is that because we are pointing out that there is illegal content on a particular site that we ourselves are committing a crime. It is not illegal to point the finger at a criminal and say "hey that guy is robbing a bank, do something about it" , likewise it's not illegal to point out a site hosting illegal content. Especially when the authorities have been slow to act on the site. Quote:
A simple message to the uploaders and file locker operators. If the Stop File Lockers site went offline tomorrow, or we were banned from GFY, or our Twitter account was shut down, then none of that would stop what we are doing. In fact all that would happen is that the pirates would lose a little window through which they can look to understand what we are doing. We are not going away. We are going to keep putting pressure on your illegitimate business and we shall eventually shut the business model of incentivised file sharing down. |
They are pissing into the wind, hoping it will turn around.

Fearlessly conquered another page didn't ya
|
Some of the recent file lockers casualities:
http://jetuploads.com http://fileshare.to http://filelucky.com http://brutalshare.com http://uploadoz.com http://filesline.com http://zeusupload.com http://upmorefiles.com http://filenet.ws http://doneshare.com Domain names either do not resolve, or go to a parked page, or redirect to another domain. |

Quote:
Perhaps a better strategy add on would be to start promoting debrid type sites, ie, sites that allow end users to pay $10 to download as much as they want from several cyber locker sites that are still trying to operate. No sales for upload monkeys = more starvation |

PayPal's really come on strong and now other payment processors are starting to come around.

If we can get imagetwist taken down this will eliminate/deter the new influx of filelocker scammers to gfy at least.
http://imagetwist.com/rewards.html What are payment methods? Currently We pay via Paypal , Moneybookers (skrill) , WMZ And Alertpay in USD currency. We may add other payment methods in future. |
