1hostclick.com (Mutt was screaming about them) which was a bad infringer is completely gone with some others. There is also an undertone in your voice of bitching about going after tubes. I see from your sig why you think this. Adult King is the only one so far who has taken a full swing along with a few others on here of squeezing file lockers down. The approach being taken right now is daring but doable. Sorry you got mildly butt hurt by "no." P.S. Thanks for bumping the thread. :winkwink: |

So how many filelockers have you killed already by now?

You should get out of your home country more. It's a big world out there, and a lot of it is awesome. |

Ahhh, isn't that so cute? :) Quote:
What the hell would you know about what men do?? You're a fucking upload monkey for crying out loud. The doings of men should be of no concern to you. Now go be a good little monkey and upload some more stolen content... while you still can. . |

More terminations by Paypal, 2CO and Moneybookers
skyload.net (site is also down now) sharingmaster.com Uplly.com We're exploring ways with some peer to peer processors of limiting accounts of uploaders who receive payments from terminated merchants. We believe this will provide disincentive to repeat infringers. |
A bump for my favourite thread.

Check this one out --> http://upsto.re/
Not only do they ignore DMCA notices (even though they say they don't), but they force the freetards to buy premium accounts by labeling most of their stolen files as "premium content". . |

Keep up the great work sir :thumbsup . |
you know AK, I've bashed you a lot in this thread, and i would like to apologize. I can now see you are truly doing some good work with your campaign. Just to let it be known I was only against you shifting like who you were actually going after on a daily basis. I see now this is a large ecosystem and must be dealt with accordingly.

share-online.biz have been terminated by Paypal.
This was becoming a larger host being one of the few accepting Paypal. We shall be putting pressure on their other payment options including UKash to terminate them. |

It is my pleasure to report that Sharebeast.com file locker has been terminated by Paypal too + several resellers of that service.

There is no denying that AK and team's persistent work in removing main source of payments to theives has put this industry in ICU. However I was expecting to see dozens of sites to fold up within first month itself but for some strange reason, some have survived and continue to struggle. Most clients will be very hesitant to use russia based unknown payment processors and there is hardly anyone of repute processing for file sharing sites any more. The ad revenue is next to nothing, wont even buy groceries these days let alone pay for server bills. By not paying upload monkeys some sites have bought themselves enough time to recoup script cost but still, I expected to see the field riddled with corpses.
Hasn't happened yet. |

Another file sharing forum where lots of hentai and Japanese movies/pics were found
http://imagebunk.com/register They sell premiums using paypal |
AK should be XBiz Man of the Year - i'm sure there are other groups and companies talking to Paypal but he is definitely having big success. Netload.in and Uploaded.to became huge overnight when Filesonic and Fileserve gave up and today I go to Netload.in and Uploaded.to - no Paypal and all the payment options they have now are hardly customer friendly. Their sales have to be dramatically down. Rapidgator also has no Paypal.

Nice work!

Good job. I did not follow the thread, so whats the status with some of the biggest such as filepost, depositfiles, hotfile?
|
I am a member of a large private forum dealing in a genre of music nobody gives a shit about. We primarily use netload. I can't renew my god damn netload account this month, nor can 90% of the aforementioned forum. People are livid. Anyone who thinks AK isn't making an impact is delusional.
Fuck you and keep up the good work AK. |

Seriously though, there is no doubt that it's not been a good year for pirates or those that would profit from commercial copyright infringement. There are several people volunteering time and effort to Copy Control so keep in mind those contributions also, without them we could not do what we do. Quote:

There is the absurd amount of them thieving things around - 500 file lockers by the very least estimate, most likely more than that. Taking care off all of them will take time. 2. Many pirates are extremely resilient and protective of their income - most of them are really unimaginative or outright dumb persons, often living in some fucked up countries, and stealing is the only way for them to ever make it big in this life. When they get a taste of these easy money that they can make just by starting a file locker using standard scheme that doesn't require any thought or imagination, it is getting way harder to stop them because many of them will go at length to protect these miraculous money and to keep them pouring in. You just love how pro-piracy press is calling them "innovators" who somehow "suffer" from the "draconian" copyright laws that protect "outdated" business models for evil copyright holders. While in reallity none of said "innovators" have a single original idea of their own - unlike people they're stealing from. 3. Paypal isn't the only payment processor around. There are many others and it will take time to get all of them on board (or dealt with accordingly if they do not cooperate). The bottomline is that despite there's already a noticable effect, it will take several more months to destroy file lockers ecosystem completely. And even longer for the ad supported piracy. |
We need to make a list of all the casualties.

Hey AK, I'd like to volunteer a few hours a week to help out with the cause. Let me know if there is anything I can do, or how to contact.
thanks. |
Today we hit 34 sites all who lost Paypal. A full list will be published Saturday morning (AEST).
A further batch of sites who thought they were flying under the radar by preventing Google indexing them are being hit over the weekend. |
Bump back to the first page.
RapidGator.net has gone completely rouge. They were, for a time, being cooperative removing files promptly, replying cordially to my emails and banning repeat offenders. They had also promised a takedown tool that was to come, as well as implementing MD5 blocking. However, that has all stopped over the last two weeks. They have been allowing the same user to not only continue to upload new content but also content I've already DMCA numerous times. They take days now to remove anything and this same user just will reupload the same content and then I have to wait another few days for it to be removed. I have sent in preemptive md5 hashes as requested by RapidGator in their canned responses to DMCA notices. The file still gets uploaded. I have copies of all communication with them, as well as every bit of empty promise they have made. Their billing processors are as follows. Adyen.com: Visa, MC, AMEX PaySafeCard.com They also have webmoney and allpay listed but those seem to inactive. |
Does Rapidgator.net or their host Netvillage.com comply with DMCA?
|
For a while RapidGator was very compliant. So much so that I never had to contact their host. I tried my best to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they seem now to have turned a corner towards complete piracy.
|
bump for Rapidgator's swift demise! *eventually*
:winkwink: |

I just hope it commences soon however. . |

They always take a full 24 hours to comply and they always ignore repeat infringer notices. . |
