It doesn't matter whose son it was (perhaps his father was some Ivan and his mom was Natasha). He is a random guy who has "insulted" the police officers. As I said many times: google is your friend. You will see a lot of news when the US police shoots at UNARMED civilians, but you won't read about almost a single case in Russia.

The one I have quoted above has happened yesterday. They have used non-lethal guns and this is still a huge incident here. Both were arrested almost immediately. The last case before that was a case of Eusukov who has killed 2 and injured 7 civilians in 2009 (have no idea whose sons or daughters they were). He was sentenced to lifetime in prison (we have no death penalty in Russia).

Are you blind or what? I have posted at least 3 videos of that above. They don't shoot the air like cowboys. In Russia you always MUST do it to show that you may shoot into somebody - it's a warning signal.

In the USA they don't shoot in the air to warn someone. They shoot into people and their home pets. Open your eyes already and scroll the topic.

P.S. Once again for stupid. Here in Russia every cop must shoot in the air before he shoots someone. It's a regular routine: two shots in the air means "next time, I'll shoot at you". If you (as a cop) don't follow it, you'll go to prison.

first video is of a mentally handicap person not listening to instructions - a huge issue in north america, as the police are required to be mental health workers as well as officers with no training - tragedies such as this occur

second is a person running from police, and driving their car directly towards officers running around police cars - assault with a deadly weapon. again fubar, but not randomly shooting people

the third is definitely a good example - yet he was firing off an air gun from a window, and grabbed his waistband - a crazy example that resulted in the officer being fired.. crazy steps in a state that doesn't give a shit about this sort of thing at all.. but not random.

This is a usual case of civilian aggression (you know what two civilian men may beat each other and someone may die...) The doctor (he is a civilian person but not a cop with a gun) has got his 20 years in prison for that. He has broken his own life and the life of his family.

To be even more fair, we in the west have establishment run news. In short, it is all extreme propaganda. But because we have grown up with it, lots of us do not see it. That's how brainwashing works.

I can't even watch news shows here anymore, because of the one sided reporting and propaganda. When you know what is going on in reality, watching the "news" on TV is extremely annoying because of all the half-truths, the biased selection what to air, which side of which story they choose to depict, etc. Objectivity doesn't exist in mainstream media.

But I have a degree (a sports category) in shooting (3 блять года школы олимпийского резерва) and shooting to me was like a conveyor since 9 year old. 6 days a week for 1.5 hours shooting from .22 RL caliber pistol to rotating "silhouettes" (google for the modern pentathlon). Again... again and again. All my childhood was about it.

Yes, I still do train in shooting. I have pneumatic replicas or PM and AK-103 (those are only legal to shoot at home). And I know where the object is located - a good place to try the "exotic" toys like Glock 17 or M4.

У нашего телевизора (LСD панели) даже антенны нет - оторвал я ее (меркантильно так, с официальным отказом об оплате) и всю инфу он с детства брал чисто из интернета (английский он знает отлично, кстати). А еще он очень хороший Java кодер и по миру наездился дофига. И вот буквально год назад ему предлагали зарплату выше, чем в Москве (процентов так аж на 10 или даже 20 больше), но требовался рилокэйшн в Прагу. На что он сказал: идите вы лесом, господа чехи... Финляндию (вот вообще не знаю чего ему там понравилось) и Голландию он все же рассматривает, как варианты. Но Чехию?... Да нахуй это унылое нищебродское говно кому скисло...

Да ты йобнутый? Какой нахуй Майкрософт? Я действительно работал кодером в штатовской фирме (даже статья в википедии есть ). В Голландии работал на той же должности от той же фирмы (майдрехт это рядом с амстердамом, хотя... там все рядом ). C Майкрософт действительно был контракт по их фигне с кодовым названием "lightning". Не поехал я туда на ПМЖ совершенно по другой причине. Мне и здесь заебись. Это МОЯ страна и я тут живу. Причем очень даже комфортно.

In Russia people call them "garbage" (literally). We have a saying that it's better to have a prostitute daughter, rather than a cop son. Also when you have a noisy party and there is an awkward silence minute, the people say "listen, a new cop just has been born".

Trying to educate Americans (and I am one myself), can be very frustrating and emotionally challenging because you won't succeed with most of us.

The fact is, during the last 30 plus years we have regressed. We are a nation with a growing population of ignorant and stupid people.

I wonder if any of the readers here (without Googling) know the difference between a ignorant person and a stupid one?

The average American intentionally chooses to ignore various pieces of information presented them, to arrive at a reasonable conclusion.

Those people that travel to different countries, and spend a significant amount of time living among the locals, can personally experience life the same way the local person does.

Unlike Europeans, most Americans choose to not travel abroad. When they do, they remain confined to the hotel resorts for their one week visit, and limit themselves to visiting a popular tourist destination for a few hours only.

Americans do not realize that in Russia, for the average citizen, it is much safer than in the USA. Russians do not have to worry about most people having guns, and being shot by another citizen. Americans do not realize the conveniences of Russia where you can pay all your bills (mobile phone, taxes, even school tuition) using the ATM. Americans do not realize that such ATMs are located not only in banks, but also small markets which are open 24 hours. Americans do not realize that, unlike American government services which are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, Russian government services and banks are open 6 days a week, and usually you can find a bank open also on Sunday's.

In America, the court system automatically believes the testimony of the police officer. It is the responsibility of the citizen to disapprove the police. In Russia, it appears that the police testimony is equally weighed with the testimony of the citizen. This is why, the police intentionally video record traffic stops, and actually stop random citizens at the scene, to serve as a neutral witness to any actions the police might take, such as inspecting the vehicle.

Am I wrong?
