If I can throw one of my opinions on this whole thread I just read into this, it'd be to the people who say they will never promote Ashley's site again because of this situation:

If you make more money promoting her than you do promoting other girls, and as long as you get paid on time, why would you care about the rest of what goes on? Most of you want to get the most $ for your traffic you can, no?

Now if you are told you have to stop, sure that's probably a giant pain in your ass to change links, etc...but if the site comes back and still converts better than where you were sending it meanwhile, smart people would switch their links back :2 cents:

Saying you will never promote a site again in such a situation (if it is another situation, like not getting paid, that's a different story) is pretty ignorant if you ask me. Anyhow it's your traffic so of course you are entitled to do whatever you like with it, this was just my opinion :)

there will allways be 100's of webmasters making 1k a month looking to get into the paysite game that will do work for her for practically free.

Take your time making decisions at critical points like this. Carefully evaluate all the offers coming in. Ask for referrences from anyone you don't know who offers you a deal and do check them.

And get EVERYTHING in writing always!

Are you saying CCBill contacts its accounts daily and asks for copyright information? Why would CCBill ask Ashley for copyright proof unless they had a reason to?

I put together a paysite last year, didn't do much with it. Epoch never asked anything about licensing proof. Maybe CCBill is different.

Was Ashley dissatisfied with what she was being paid? What was she getting per month?

Has she thought about she now has to put her name and address on there to be in compliance?

Thats the part I don't get... Why would she want to go on her own does she have any idea how much work it is. I've been doing this for 9 years and I still work 7 days a week 8-12 hours a day. talking to webmasters and running a company.

now she is gonna have to pay a few people to maintain it since she doesn't know how to do any of it. and its not easy because you have to constantly tweak shit.

the only way would be like Mutt said find a webmaster to date or find another sucker.

like the dutiful guy i am Ashley was made aware months ago of all the issues with the new 2257 regs, felt she had to know there was a risk to her and some affiliates are or will be concerned - not really fair that a girl who is the only one in her photos should have to go to the trouble to prove to the government that she is who she is but that's the way it is. she is non-compliant - as are about 500 sites i've seen.
