I have lots of favorite memories and crazy stories, unfortunately I can't tell all of them without getting myself in trouble!

Last year we had all the girls from Strip Dodgeball game up in my suite changing clothes after the event. To be funny, I picked up the phone and called the front desk to ask for some "supplies."

"Hi, this is Steve from Lightspeed. I have 8 naked girls in my room and we need a few things if thats ok... Yeah, ok, we need some whipped cream, a pingpong paddle, a bunch of AA batteries, a giant cucumber, and some video tape. What? No ping pong paddles? Do you have ANYTHING that could be used as a paddle? Like maybe an oar from a rowboat?" She seriously said, "HOLD ON WHILE I LOOK AROUND!!!" HAHAHAHAHA

My most sentiimental moment was last year's forum, when I retired the white Lightspeed jerseys with Frank and Joanne Cadwell. If you look at the pictures from that moment, you can see that I was beaming with pride!

Phoenix Forum, 2006......

I met Naught Coco for the frist time. Here she is pictured on the left:



It's very rare that I met a model that I like. She has to be hot, friendly, and fun to spend time with. It also helps if she shares the same name as my pet cat (Coco). We met, I liked her. I talked to him for a few minutes, wanted to get him off my phone, and told him - rather bluntly - that if he was a real photographer interested in working in the adult internet he would surely be attending Phoenix Forum the next day. I even gave him the suite number to the Lightspeed Party suite.

The next day, first day of Phoenix Forum, there I am in the middle of the afternoon in a very important business meeting when there is a knock on the door. Steve answers the door, and it's this Niko Bimini character is asking for me. Bad fucking timing.

However, I met Niko, spent the weekend "networking" with him, and perhaps even saw him naked (which isn't that uncommon with Niko). A short time later he was working full time in the industry, was working for Lightspeed Cash, and had opened up his own program. He's a quick learner.

Niko and I are still good friends today. Beat that for networking.... It's possible Phoenix Forum changed the direciton of Niko's life....

Phoenix Forum 2005 is where I met Jack - aka Avalanche - the owner of Cherry Pimps for the first time. That's about the same moment I met his wife also.

It was during the Lightspeed Volleyball thing, which involved HUGE AMOUNTS OF JAGER. It's possible I was, well, having prolems walking at that point. Three was this really hot chick there in a blue bikini, and well, she was checking me out. I was trying to start a new thing called "Jager swapping" which is where a sexy hot woman takes a shot of jager, puts it in her mouth, and then puts it in my mouth using her, well, toungue. Sounds nasty, but that's fine - the jager kills the germs. Twice.

I can't tell this story but I can try to get the parties involved to post it tomorrow. Like others it does include a Taxi ride (everyone should watch out for those taxi rides) it also includes Z maybe being responsible for saving 2 lives. It also has intrigue, mystery, an 8 ball (not drugs) and heroic actions taken when needed. For sure one of the funniest stories I have ever heard in my life when it could have turned out so different. If they will tell it, I am pretty sure it will win even without the visual aids.

I could tell the results of one of my jokes told there but well you would have had to be there.

Years ago, when CCBill first took over the Forum, I noticed that many of the attendees appeared a bit awkward and out of their element during the show.

As each year passed, i slowly began to notice the group maturing, becoming more comfortable with each other and perhaps, with what they do. As the group became more cohesive, with each webmasters social network beginning to grow, the individuals seemed to become more at ease with each other, as well as new people into the group.

We like to think that the Phoenix Forum was a part of this, as a conduit for building and maintaining the relationships necessary for business (as well as personal) development.

I am very proud of what the forum and its attendees has become, and I look forward to seeing each one of you every year, and especially this year

My first show, Phoenix Forum 2002 at the Millennium Resort. I walk out to the opening reception with the CCBill sales guys (Sean, Doug, Jeff, Andy). 3 seconds later, they all see clients they know and walk over and start chatting with them. Im standing there by myself, knowing nobody there, and was feeling a little awkward. I ended up talking to Hank from Mr Skin, about various things, including how important cameras are at parties, for over an hour, really nice guy. He was the first person that I really got to know, and I appreciate him going out of his way to introduce himself to me and invite me to sit down to talk.

At that same show, I had a chance to hang out with Tim (Tadow) and Brett J from Dormangels, they stayed at my place. Great guys, very smart. It was that weekend that that I realized how amazing it was how much more you understand how the various facets of this industry interact, after spending time talking to a range of people about their respective businesses at a conference like this.

Ok so this was at the forum in 02 or 03.

I was out drinking at the pool with everyone until I guess around 3 or 4am.
So finally I am beat and head the long walk back to my room.

I can't wait to crash.

So I get in the room and I instantly realize something seems different. Like my suitcase was moved.
No big deal probably the maid.

So I sit on the end of the bed and grab the remote and the fucking thing is totally covered in Vaseline!
I'm like wtf!!

So I stand up and walk to the bathroom to wash my hands and theres a big fucking hunk of meat rotting in the sink!

Then someone had soaked a tampon in ketchup ( I hope it was ketchup) and stuck it to the wall.
The bathtub was full of fucking live fish swimming around!
I was amazed at the length these perpetraters had gone to.

I looked around the room and figured ok thats it. I cant find anyother shanannigans, so I get ready to pass out in bed and deal with it in the morning.

Well I pull back the comforter and see like these lines or something under the sheet. I'm like what the hell are these lines?

I pulled back the sheet and my godamn bed was filled with these huge ass worms, like thousands of worms!

Ok Im done Im not sleeping with the worms, plus if they went this far there just might be a rattlesnake in here also.

So I call the front desk and say "hey you need to put me in another room"
They ask why, I say "because someone fucked up my room....you must have let someone pay you off to get a key, because they were in here and trashed my room!"

They say hold on we will send someone over.

So like 5 minutes later I get a knock on the door, when i go to open it, the fucking handle is coated in vaseline and i cant get it open. Finally I yank it open and it's the godamn Phoenix police!

They come inside and start looking around and Im showing them all the worms and shit, and the cop looks at me and says "Why did you do this to your room?"

Im like what the hell dude why would I do this to my own room!!!

He puts his hand on his gun and demands I calm down.

Finally around 6am the hotel puts me in a suite because thats all they have available.

The next day I saw they had yellow caution tape around the front door of my other room.

The responsible parties...RRRed, Ken Lawson, Jason Zimmerman and a few others are currently living on borrowed time.

Ok so this was at the forum in 02 or 03.

So finally I am beat and head the long walk back to my room.

I looked around the room and figured ok thats it. I cant find anyother shanannigans, so I get ready to pass out in bed and deal with it in the morning.

Well I pull back the comforter and see like these lines or something under the sheet. I'm like what the hell are these lines?

I pulled back the sheet and my godamn bed was filled with these huge ass worms, like thousands of worms!

Ok Im done Im not sleeping with the worms, plus if they went this far there just might be a rattlesnake in here also.

So I call the front desk and say "hey you need to put me in another room"
They ask why, I say "because someone fucked up my room....you must have let someone pay you off to get a key, because they were in here and trashed my room!"

They say hold on we will send someone over.

So like 5 minutes later I get a knock on the door, when i go to open it, the fucking handle is coated in vaseline and i cant get it open. Finally I yank it open and it's the godamn Phoenix police!
