How is this different from what KimJI suggested? You pay webmasters to refer surfers to your sites....so if I start a new project that gives an incentive for surfers to sign up to your trials then you would be ok with it right? Since you are defending what Brad did.
Well ya never know. Someone may deposit $20 bucks and get paid $100 from Brad. And then end up trying out the casino and becoming a customer and spending alot of money.

see my post a few back explaining the difference with casinos. now please explain to me how this even remotely applies to content theft.

again, the billing models of adult and gaming are not even in the same realm.

This is called bonus whoring, and casinos will close your account and seize your winnings in a second if they find you doing it. You couldn't be more wrong...

so its ok cause the person who is getting paid to sign up to the casino MAY gamble with it and may gamble in the future...

Ok so how is that different from me giving a few people $10 a piece to sign up to your trials? A couple of them MAY even like your sites and sign up for the monthly and keep rebilling right?

So Content theft is bad but defrauding is ok.

it's not scamming. it's how casinos market.

say he hits up 10 people, 1k in payouts, 200 in revenue. down 800.

over the course of a year, or two, there's a slight chance that a combination of those 10 people are going to play at least 800.

now look at it on a bigger scale, 10 people hit up 10 people. 100 people, 10k in payouts, 2k in revenue, down 8k.

over the course of a year, or two, there's a good chance that a combination of those 100 people are going to play 8k.

...

casinos look for big players, that's how they make money on those promos. 100 dollar payouts to them are not shit.

The sponsor checks I receive disagree with you. Just because I make MORE money doing mainstream stuff doesn't mean I've removed all my adult sites.

It also doesn't mean I don't know the difference between right and wrong. The crap you're spewing just because someone didn't want to do whatever deal this is with you is wrong. Zorg was quite clear that he didn't want to do this and then you went off on him and now are attacking his personal life. Not sure why you'd feel the need to do that.

Or question if I have the right to post on ANY board.

Believe me I know how casinos market, and that is NOT what is happening here. He is sending a false referral from a guy that has NO intention of playing there to get a bonus payout, and online casinos despise this so much they have a name for it, "bonus whoring". As soon as they detect the pattern they will close his account and seize all of the money in it.

see my last post. you sir, are correct. the fact that people MAY play is what they market off of.

adult sites are different in that billing is set on regular intervals. the fact that surfers MAY convert and rebill is where payouts are derived from. by you making up a number, say 10, you are incentivizing and therefore changing the formula.

lastly, you have no idea what you're talking about so shut up about the content theft already, it has nothing to do with this.

Damn I did not knew that stealing and stealing are 2 different things. Hmmmm what if I make a warez site and ask my visitors to sign up for a trial membership and then let them come in. And on top of that I give them 5 bucks. Hmmm Its shit that somebody already did that. And maybe does signups's actually like that porn site and maybe if they are horny again come back u never now. So it is not stealing its just helping the adult sites. Yes its a good thing to do.

trust me if brad hits up enough webmasters, ones who actually make money and gamble online, the casino will see returns. if they close his account, then that's on him.

Ok, I guess I don't understand enough about poker programs. Does it work like an adult sign up? someone deposits $20 and the affiliate gets paid? if so, how is paying a customer to sign up not bad news? I'm confused.

edit: err... I loaded this thread a while ago before people started explaining. So... it IS just like an adult sign up....

He is not even asking them to gamble. He is asking them to open a fake account and make a deposit, and then he gets the bonus. It is "bonus whoring", and it is defrauding the casino. They run bonus promotions as an incentive for you to refer people to play in the hopes of hooking them, not to have you send non players to open accounts for the sole purpose of you getting a bonus.

It is pretty clear that he is helping his friend defraud a casino affiliate program. Lets say the casino affiliate program payout structure is like this:
1-10 sign ups: $75 CPA
10-25 sign ups: $100 CPA
25-50 sign ups: $150 CPA.

It near the end of the month and you have sent the casino 22 players. Thats 22 * $100 = $2200. If you can get 3 friends to deposit with their own credit card (you can't just use your credit card 3 times or the casino will bust you) you'll then make 25 * $150 = $3750! Thats a big jump in profits for only a few players! I'm a long term casino affiliate and every month I know a few dirty affiliates trying to pay others to help them jump into the next payout tier. I'm sure Brad has lots of money - unfortunately he probably has already used his credit card to help his friend out so he needs to find someone else to use their credit card!

read what i wrote above about how it affects how programs determine payouts.

i'm not saying that it's impossible to make money off of incentivizing surfers. you obviously don't understand mainstream very well.

what i am saying is that normal payouts in an adult program are calculated NOT by taking incentivization into account, therefore they do not want to deal with it -as well as the chargebacks that it generates.

Court is in session...

Are we all Judges or do we nominate one Judge to give the final ruling today.

All arguements have been heard. LOL!

Casinos scam people everyday. You think that software you play on doesn't have it setup that you are 100% going to lose.

Anyways Brad is not even profiting from this, he's trying to help a friend.

No it's not right, but in societies eyes ALL YOU PORN PEOPLE are scum of the earth. So who is right, who is wrong?

good post, i'm not defending him if he's running fraud.

if my friend hit me up to play 20 at a casino with a 100 bonus, personally if i felt like playing at that moment i'd play the 20 and then the 100 because cashing out is a pain in the ass for 100 bucks. the 20 bucks i could care less about. if within the next year i felt like playing again, i'd probably use that same casino since i had an account there last.

LOL So cause some casinos scam people its ok to scam right back...how the fuck can you be involved in adult and make that comment? How many adult companies have fucked over people? How many have distributed scumware? So then with your fucked up logic it's ok to scam any adult sponsor.

No not at all. But its awesome how you twist words to make what I wrote sound the worst possible way possible.

I just find it funny that we are arguing over something small here, we are all trying to be perfect citizens. But no matter what we do we are looked at as scum of the earth because we do porn.

It's just ironic when you think of it.

Darling if u got me sign up for a fucking casinio so i get 100 dollars for u I get that 100 dollars gamble the 20 bucks away and never come back again. I don't gamble in a casino I have a stock market for that or a real estate market.

Its both wrong and both u are stealing from them and all your points also go up whit adult and mainstream.

And that I don't understand mainstream very well ? I am not known in adult but I am in my business and that is mainstream.

Its both wrong and both u are stealing from them and all your points also go up whit adult and mainstream.

And that I don't understand mainstream very well ? I am not known in adult but I am in my business and that is mainstream.
mainstream programs that accept incentivization on their leads do so with that in mind when they structure their payouts. most adult affiliate programs do not. perhaps i should have said you don't know adult very well.

It doesn't matter whether it's adult or gambling. It's against the terms and it's considered fraud. Whether companies - adult or gambling - knowingly take such signups eventhough they don't allow it officially is a different story...

OK, let's take away the any aspect of ripping off the casino because for all we know, Zorg has billions and was going to blow it all on that website.

But the response from Brad to Zorg POLITELY turning down his request to do this is what's just bizarre, IMO.

Of course, I get attacked for pointing that out even though others have too, lol ;)

from what i read on the icq log, brad wasn't necessarily scamming. to me it looked like he was spamming his icq list for leads for the casino.

He offered to pay him $100 for a $20 deposit and this is against the (official) terms of all gambling affiliate programs I know.
