I think someone got money some kind of way and it went to their head a lot. However you got your money, don't confuse that with success. If daddy gave you money to buy a domain that doesn't mean you are running a website, or successfull at anything, other than having a rich dad. Congrats on that.

You need to be a bit clearer on what you offer. 40% is your top tier which less than 5% of your webmasters will ever see. Most will only earn the 25% revshare on one of your sites and 15% on the other two. 15% is at the bottom of cam sponsors in terms of revshare, for years your company only paid 10% revshare and was considered the lowest paying cam sponsor. Many of the companies currently paying revshare 25 - 35% do so from the beginning, you don't have to be a top webmaster to achieve that.

What he said. I've always hated when programs would take the top tier (that very few people, if any reached) and throw that % around like that is what everyone makes.

When I go to the site and see that your REALLY offer 15-20% i get turned off from even wanting to try your program. If you want to throw out the "40%" then say it like " MAKE from 20% up to 40%" or something like that.

well.... WE offered you a professional script in exchange for a percentage; we can throw traffic in there too. And with that domain, a little optimization and a few hard links thrown up here and there I think you could get yourself some decent SE traffic.

So why didn't we hear from you? We can keep 50% if you want instead of 8.5%... but if you point your domain to our servers and fill out our client form (so we know who to send the checks to) we can get you up and running this week. I would have said Monday but we're a little over booked since Internext, and anyhow it would take up to a couple days for the domain to resolve to our name servers.

Your advice to start with a $10 domain and work up is really stupid, to have any chance in camgirl industry you need to invest. Yes invest, just not in a 350k domain. Cams.com(Camgirlslive.com), Livejasmin.com and Streamate.com all trace their origins to $10 domains. There's a couple dozen other things you need to invest in besides a domain to make a cam site/program successful, one without the others means failure. You could have bought a very nice 2 word webcam domain for 5k-10k and used the other 340k to get the project rolling quickly, now you've been stuck with a 350k domain for 5 months making you less than $500/mo. Looks like men.com all over again.

Hi I just asked the question because I would not pay $500 or any thing more that the reg fee for a two word cams domain because there are plenty of them.

I would only pay bigger money if the domain meant something to me.... for example i own Elite Live and that may appeal to say Elite Dollars who may pay $5K but no one else will.

However having said all this I certainly will be hunting typin cam domain, so will check out the auctions.

I own a couple decent two word "webcam" domains that I paid $10 for. Some of them are IntimateWebcams.com RealityWebcams.com and I also AmateurGirlCams.com and AmateurGuyCams.com I would take any of those with my knowledge over a camgirls domain and not knowing shit.

Found a good cam domain yesterday for 10 bucks. Setup, whitelabeled, linked into network all in about an hour. That includes time spent goofing off with an old highschool girlfriend on FB.
