Fact no.1 - promised to pay back the day after this happened

Fact no.2 - fucked with me 8 months with bullshit excuses, till I got to meet him personally in Florida to get all the cash he had on himself which was $ 350

Fact. no.3 - fucked with me for another 20 months resulting in a "payment plan" for $ 150 which was the last straw

Thats sums things up, but in the end it doesn't matter which case it is, what's with promising payments on certain dates and not delivering ? If you can't afford it, just tell him so; if you think you don't owe him it, you also should have said so.

Bottom line, Derek agreed to start paying back the remaining difference on the 16th of this month, he failed to do so. Instead on the 15th he makes a thread about just purchasing a new MacBook Pro, if you were owed money by him wouldn't you be pissed? You'd be better off starting a thread about it and let the gfy collection agency do the dirty work. If he's strung you along for two years then he obviously has no intention of paying you, so you've got nothing to lose at this point by making it public.

You can't and you didn't, its impossible for you to be 100% objective in the matter when dwreck is a close friend. There's nothing wrong with being biased and backing up a friend, but don't accuse others of being biased when you clearly have been.

You keep wanting to bring up the chip incident and all of the other details, but they are pointless after dwreck agreed to pay back Carlos the remaining $150 he admitted he owed him. He missed his payment date and the details became public, nothing really left to say. I only mentioned the jtf incident because Carlos also didn't care about the amount as much as the principal of the matter.

you are wrong as you CAN be objective. I also feel youre wrong on the principle part. I feel Carlos made this thread like he did to tarnish Dwreck's name into giving the money back right away and thats the only reason I have said anything in this thread... its not just about the principle for Carlos... It IS about getting his money. If it was principle it wouldnt have gone down like this.

If it's #2, firstly, he shouldn't have accepted it. If he did and spent it, when Carlos contacted him, he should have told Carlos that he was drunk and gave it to him. If that was the story, Carlos should just have accepted it at that - or, Derek could have offered him back half the money so they each take the loss. The fact Derek gave him $350 at a later date would almost instantly signal guilt; but knowing Derek, he seems the type to always want to avoid confrontation, so it's not too far-fetched to believe he may have paid him that hoping to just put the issue behind them. Thats sums things up, but in the end it doesn't matter which case it is, what's with promising payments on certain dates and not delivering ? Everyone saying and knowing its unlike him is a huge flag that perhaps he he feels differently about the situation. Regardless of his feelings or thought son it htough he paid you when you raise a stink. I do think its a tad lame it took so long. WIthout haste of course since this isnt my fault. months go by and I meet the same guy at a show. He "turns my pockets out" taking what money I have. NOw being at a show and having my money taken. Im left struggling a little to achieve a convenient trip I planned for. BUt i gave it since Its what is right. Now same ything happens... My peers see me getting tarnished for someone drunken "joke" How the fuck would you feel. Most people here would have told you to fuck off. Not pay you right away. So put the bottle down and look at it from another view. Im disappointed a little with my friend ... but this was nowhere near public worthy... I do understand the principle though Carlos and thats where my beef with my friend is. THats just not what im voicing right now. I just feel your actions and method was harsh, being that you spout the charcter part being most important when you left out specific details i would assume in hope to gain views to your side.
