Funny, I don't see you making this same exact comment to the Democrats on here who actually make most of the political threads. It always strikes me as funny to know who the insecure people are and it's those who think everyone else is a sheeple and are allegedly "blindly" picking a side, while they're too smart and they know better...

Now from a point of view not brainwashed by the media in the US, how the rest of the world looks at this situation.
I wasn't aware you spoke for the rest of the world. Doing something like that takes credibility and credibility is earned when you've proven yourself to be both rational and objective..

Quote:
Bush: Constant threat of another war, if he would have been longer in office, or if that crazy old guy would have won the elections the US would have made it to Iran, spending all the taxpayers' money and their soldiers' lives in yet another middle eastern desert making the US a definitive 3rd world country.
Calm down there Miss Cleo.. Your speculations are nothing more than that, stop passing them off as fact.

Quote:
Obama: Not throwing away money and lives in another war, and even a health care plan which is proven to work for numerous european countries.
Looks like somebody missed the last two years and now you've proven yourself to be biased. Obama is the epitome of "throwing money away" and just because a system works in one location doesn't make it right in another, especially where there are many factors involved.

Quote:
I feel that the whole world is way more relaxed now because the weird war mongering retards dont run things anymore. I don't know what you are complaining about. And by the way when you look at your personal earnings and spendings, is it really much of a difference who is running the country?
The Democrats are as "fear mongering" as the Republicans, if not more. In fact, the term "fear mongering" is a liberal term used to elicit an emotional response in the absence of a logical or factual argument.

Quote:
By the way, a big ass recession that had a huge impact on the world economy is not fixed in 2 years, not with the Federal Reserve ruling & printing money all the time.
You do know that stimulus programs (yes, started mostly by Bush and hit a new level with Obama), as well as just throwing cash at the problem doesn't help either, right?

I didn't feel like reading all of this, but the business cycle is to blame for a lot of this stuff... and big business = conservatives = republicans...
so once the republicans are back in power they will have to start making good on all this donor money that has flooded in to them. So once again the will of the people will be dictated by big business.
Sure, it works this way for both parties, we have a flawed system... but republicans do it a lot worse. Plus since they love some religion that means they are more likely to fuck with porn and put all us US based webmasters out of a job

Yeah, today will be the end of the socialist experiment, and the beginning of a new experiment with the purpose of finding out just how close can a persons intelligence level get to that of an earth worm and still be elected for office in America.

Yep, the likes of Christine O'Donnel (Who want's to ban masturbation) and Sharon Angle really know so much about economics.

This 12dicks fag must be a master troll or the biggest dumb cunt on this forum (I'm betting on the latter) for being a tea bagger & hoping to make money in porn.

Glad you guys like it enough to keep quoting. No one said I was incorrect yet though I could write up a nice batch of paragraphs detailing what I was talking about, but you guys are set in your ways. Trying to change someone's political views is pointless, but I figured I'd at least contribute one paragraph.

Its okay, I'm sure republicans will accomplish absolutely nothing and fuck shit up further in the next 2 years making the reelection that much easier.

The biggest dumb cunt? Way to prove that liberals/Democrats make Republicans look like Einstein.

You mean you can't imagine for something that is doing nothing but raising our national debt, to end?

i'm at a point where i wish that the republicans win everything and Obama steps down so that one of those nutjobs can take over. then finally all this whining would be over and i can start looking for an island or cave where i can watch the world go down in smoke.

You mean the world hasn't been going down in smoke the past two years where the Democrats controlled everything? Boy are you delusional.

I still think its hilarious how quick we forgot dubya and the rest of the republican shenanigans. Recession started under dubya and he started the spending.... Have you guys ever heard of Japan and how they didn't spend?

nope, it didn't. cause you're not the world. here unemployement is at a 20 year low and economy is booming. companies like Audi, VW or Siemens voluntarily pay their employees more money and the planned additional debt due to the world economic crisis could be reduced by 30 or 40%. and why? cause the 2 biggest parties at the time of crisis worked together. does it ring a bell?

the US has one big problem: that both big parties rather ruin the country than give the other a chance for success.

I'm confident that not only did you just compare our economic status to Europe's, but that you also aren't aware of how various European economies work, otherwise you wouldn't be making causation/correlation statements like that. Our biggest problem isn't the lack of bipartisanship, it's the FED throwing out money and consumers spending what they don't have. It's been going on for more than 30 years and it's still going on. The politicians are definitely part of the problem but they aren't THE problem.

You do realize stopping spending is going to send our country into a deflationary downward spiral like what happened to Japan. Our country runs on spending the multiplier it creates. The obama administration has stepped in and tried to put in place consumer protections to make it harder for predatory companies to keep letting people spend spend spend what they dont have. Like healthcare... too bad republicans tried to ruin that as much as possible so the current bill is half assed as fuck.

Inorrect. Less government spending has zero effect on deflation and son, with the amount of paper we're printing, we do not have to worry about deflation.
Also, republicans had ZERO to do with the healthcare bill.

And you're a moron who never backs up what he says and gets his ass handed to him by this "stupid kid". I'm smarter than you in every way imaginable. If you had common sense, you'd be able to back up your assertions. Instead, you just look like an unknowledgeable dolt who masks his stupidity with an insult and a poor rationalization.

Ah ok I understand, so you don't know any of the conditions that prompted Japan to go into a 20 year deflationary recession. The only people who believe our country's economic depends on spending are the moronic Keynesians that have been destroying this country for a better part of 30 years. And predatory companies? You DO realize that only the FED can keep people from spending what they don't have by raising interest rates? Good god, most of you porn pushers should just stick to pushing porn because you know nothing else.

Less spending causes less demand which causes prices to fall. Deflation.

There is barely any inflation right now even with us printing plenty of money. So if we stop the spending, stop the printing that would leave us with.... yes, you guessed it, deflation.

Someone already covered the response to the heathcare bill, but really, Republicans had 0 to do with the healthcare bill? Nothing at all? No impact?

Did it go something along the lines of "I'm a moron but I don't want people to know so I'll call you a troll and graciously step down before I embarrass myself further"? Like I said, making middle aged men look stupid is just too damn easy.

What the hell? There are many factors that are involved in this. There's domestic demand and there's international demand. If domestic demand falls, international depend actually picks up because the dollar is shit now. Demand Side economics is stupid.

As opposed to hyperinflation in a few years followed by economic collapse? And we won't get deflation, we will get stagnation/disinflation. Deflation occurs when the interest rates are negative.

Yes! I can't wait to watch the US dropping LOADS of money into invading countries like Iran, and a space missile defense shield.

It's just such a pity the democrats decided to put that money into healthcare for its own citizens. I want my missile defense system in space!

As for the "socialist" project everyone complains about, no, no, no... it's just the US is about 2 decades behind the times compared to most other Western nations. When the Republicans win, the US will just go back to doing the same shit they did before. As I'm sure you know, the definition of stupidity is constantly doing the same thing, and hoping for a different result.

At least the Dems were pushing boundaries, and setting new limits. That's much better than the typical diatribe you hear from the Republicans, which has been EXACTLY the same for the past many decades. How do you possibly think they're going to make anything better?

car, bus, train, airplane, moped, wagon, it really does not matter. it's bipartisan bullshit and obama has pitched himself to be up above it when in reality he's down in it.

Deflation = a fall in the general price level and/or a contraction of credit and available money.

Prices of many asset classes collapsed (stocks, commodities, real estate).

Credit and available money contracted.

Government intervention, right, wrong or indifferent, followed.

Whether the risk of further deflation has been thwarted remains to be seen, as does the prospects for hyperinflation.

It always strikes me as hilarious when a stupid liberal claims the US is behind everyone else by 20 years (nevermind that we still have the biggest economy in the world), and his only proof for that is....Healthcare? ROFL

Oh yea that's what we need, the Democrats pushing the boundaries and spending money on astronomical levels.

Actually, the quote is....

Ummm... two problems with that. One, have you seen the US deficit lately, compared to other countries? That, and have you looked at the HRI (Human Resource Index) lately? Many (most?) of those "socialist" countries are living a better standard of life than US citizens, and yet, they're not mired in debt. Not to mention, their future looks quite a bit more stable than the US.

And isn't it people on this board that are always saying "adapt or die"? So you believe going to back policies from the 1960s (which is what the Republicans still run on), will help the US, or something? World has changed, it's now globalized, so like you guys love to say, adapt or die.

Then Republicans love to criticize Muslims for living in the stone age, then turn around and elect idiots into power who promote 60 year old policies, which are no longer valid in the modern world. Quite stupid, to be honest.

Name me another country with our population before you start comparing apples and oranges What's that? China? Oh you mean the country with an amazing economy and no middle class? I'm still waiting for the proof that we're behind everyone by 20 years.

Because those policies were sound economic policies that would be applicable today if it weren't for moronic politicians and FED chairmen.[quote]

This is a stupid argument when you take into account that your only proof is healthcare. And your bias and double standards are hilarious.

I honestly believe the Dems did excellent, and did right by the middle class. When the economy of a 350+ million person country, which is the military and economy leader in the world collapses, you can't possibly expect to be living in a prosperous economy again within 2 years. I know Americans love their immediate gratification, but realistically, it's impossible.

I honestly believe the Dems laid the needed ground work to make your countries' economy prosperous again. It'll probably take another 2 - 5 years before we see the full affects of various legislation passed last year. I think they did good.

Republicans seem to under this delusion that if you give the rich tax breaks, they'll invest in your country, and create jobs. That's now what makes a successful economy though. What does is allowing the struggling, middle class guy to save up enough money, to put his own ideas and innovation into place, and start his own business. That's what creates a thriving economy, and not the other way around. Not help the rich, so they'll throw some scraps to the middle class.

What are you talking about? The Chinese middle class is ballooning, and has been for many years. Whereas the US middle class has been shrinking.

No, they wouldn't be applicable today, and don't be so naive. Whatever, elect whoever you want, and reap what you sow.
