Yeah here are a couple of places:

www.privatemdlabs.com

You'd order your labwork at one of these places and you get emailed a requisition form. Then you just print it out and walk into any labcorp to get your blood drawn. Your results will be emailed / posted online in a few days.

Labcorp is likely the same lab your doctor uses when they give you a lab order. I think it's the largest lab in the US with multiple offices in every city.

The only difference is the price. The same labs ordered by your doctor would cost significantly more than if you ordered them by yourself.

I so totally appreciate this! In one of those weird twist of the universe things, I had a scheduled doctor's appt after I first posted in this thread. He ordered a TSH lab, and it came back outside the range. So they are going to do other other tests on it...not sure if it is the T3 or T4 that you spoke of.

I don't know what the hell to do, now. A day or two after I found her in the basement laying there sick and hardly moving, showing mild signs of mania, she wanted to come and see me.

She did. She's back. She is terribly sorry and went and bought me a new wardrobe of clothes on a Kohls card they sent to her. She's acting like HERSELF. She had been to the hospital again, the ER doc did labs and they think she may be on her way to being hypo rather than hyper.

I don't know WHAT the hell to think or do now... we're both looking for jobs. Still broke. She's been staying at my place, we both had a little money and put it together to buy food and gasoline. My car is busted now so she's been driving me places.

She still wants to keep her new room, but has only managed to pay 100 on it

I am enjoying having her around as herself but scared to death that she'll thyroid out, again. I guess she was trying to save money going without one of her anti pills. That is why all of this happened, why she ended up in the ER. And apparently she caught strep throat, there. That is why she was laying in the basement that whole time - leveling out being back on meds and having strep..

I don't know maybe being loyal will pay off. She's a hell of a woman if she can get well. She's exceedingly intelligent, beautiful, I love her body and she adores giving blowjobs. She even has business experience(huge turn-on for me) Maybe she'll cause some more disasters. I do know that the last few weeks I had become a real dick ball asshole, she had caused so many issues and I had done so much for her, you know, but I caused a lot of her misbehavior when I was at MY breaking point.

I think now that I am not so much of an asshole and giving her a CHANCE to behave it might go a-lot better. Who knows, I don't know who's fault what was.

A job is what I need. And I need to be OUT of the middle of all of my families problems. Maybe I dig her because I crave excitement. I have kept company with dangerous ass bitches, before.. I understand that it's a Harvard study you're citing, here, but they also did one which found that hardened thugs on the street will respond to love and kindness. She wasn't dysfunctional when I met her and I moved to this town to get the HELL away from my family and start over a little.. In that town I was in, I was the problem solver for them all. It drove me crazy dealing with stupid yet intense problems they all cause. My mother is crazy but has never done any drugs or alcohol- she is just off because of a huge stroke back in 1996 ... she has a lack of compassion a lot of the time, and acts like a child often .. My father was extremely tough on me when I was a child and it wasn't easy .. for example when I was fifteen I was making his truck payment ..

But I definitely wasn't seeking a dysfunctional person and don't believe I was dysfunctional when I moved here. My "new start" just ended up being consumed by her getting sick, I have not had a chance. I went right back into the problem solver role. Spent my money every dime on her, driving her everywhere, etc.

I had no time or money left for ANYTHING I wanted. I could not even buy a stupid $20 cd player for my god damned car.

Maybe I seek out the role of problem solver in order to avoid dealing with my own issues. I have though that for awhile now. I also seem to be punishing myself for something. I'm not sure.

And then this woman when she is more loyal to this religious nut friend of hers, and joins her jewelry sales cult, and goes completely opposite of what I tell her, it makes me so mad. How dare she go and rent a room I told her not to, or waste the money on the jewelry cult behind my back? I was not in town when she got that money, and she purposely evaded me when I asked if the money came in so she could go and give it to the cult

A day or two after I found her in the basement laying there sick and hardly moving, showing mild signs of mania, she wanted to come and see me. She did. She's back. She is terribly sorry and went and bought me a new wardrobe of clothes on a Kohls card they sent to her. She's acting like HERSELF. She had been to the hospital again, the ER doc did labs and they think she may be on her way to being hypo rather than hyper. I don't know WHAT the hell to think or do now... we're both looking for jobs. Still broke. She's been staying at my place, we both had a little money and put it together to buy food and gasoline. My car is busted now so she's been driving me places. She still wants to keep her new room, but has only managed to pay 100 on it Hell I am enjoying having her around as herself but scared to death that she'll thyroid out, again. I guess she was trying to save money going without one of her anti pills. That is why all of this happened, why she ended up in the ER. And apparently she caught strep throat, there. That is why she was laying in the basement that whole time - leveling out being back on meds and having strep.. I don't know maybe being loyal will pay off. She's a hell of a woman if she can get well. She's exceedingly intelligent, beautiful, I love her body and she adores giving blowjobs. She even has business experience(huge turn-on for me) Maybe she'll cause some more disasters. I do know that the last few weeks I had become a real dick ball asshole, she had caused so many issues and I had done so much for her, you know, but I caused a lot of her misbehavior when I was at MY breaking point. I think now that I am not so much of an asshole and giving her a CHANCE to behave it might go a-lot better. Who knows, I don't know who's fault what was. A job is what I need. And I need to be OUT of the middle of all of my families problems. Maybe I dig her because I crave excitement. I have kept company with dangerous ass bitches, before..
