This video cannot exist...The movie is in theaters, so a DVD has not even been created. That file could be anything. Did you download the other stuff to see if it was real or just fake titles?

DVD Screeners are released to the media even while movies are in theatres, people also use cameras in theatres to "cam" a current movie.

It wouldn't be labeled as DVDRip if it was a screener or cam.

DVD copies of movies are sent to reviewers before and while movies are in theatres. These are often released onto torrent sites and file lockers when leaked, shared by recipients. This is nothing new.

People have been using their cellphones to video a movie in a theater for a while now and run home and upload it to the web.

The mindset of some people just blows my mind. I have to wonder what they are thinking when they not only steal...but go out of their way to steal. :(

Our case files run to several volumes, in large binders. We have shelves full of evidence. Our blog posts are just a signal that a site is under scrutiny.

We're not about to begin releasing our documentation to the world. We also don't report all of our ongoing successes.

PS: A dvd cannot be ripped that does not exist. A screener is not a dvdrip regardless if it was copied dvd. It's still a screener. That file is probably something else labeled as a dvdrip to get downloads.

So what you're saying is that Lumfile.com is full of mislabeled files. Ok, well Lumfile is selling access to download these files. People are being charged money to download these files - so Lumfile is fraudulently billing people for access to non-existent content. However, that's fine in your world - as long as Lumfile can keep billing people for access to content that it does not have any right to distribute or content which is misleadingly labeled then everything is ok.

If you sell copies of Windows on eBay and send blank disks then thats fraud. So what you're saying is that Lumfile is committing fraud.

If content on Lumfile is labeled as bestiality, rape, child pornography, incest or other illegal content then this is sufficient for the credit card associations to force their merchant acquirers to terminate their merchant accounts.

The very fact that Lumfile carries files which purport to contain illegal content is enough evidence - there is no need to download anything. The mere suggestion of this content being made available and billed by credit card is enough to seal the fate of the merchant.

In the past month we have collected tens of thousands of urls in DMCA complaints made by rights holders against Lumfile. None of these DMCA complaints have been complied with.

All of these have been sorted, catalogued and filed along with evidence that the files still exist one , two, three and more weeks after the DMCA was issued.

At the moment Mega is complying with the law, it is removing files that are the subject of DMCA notices, it is not rewarding uploaders of content and is doing nothing for which it should lose it's Paypal account. Paypal placed Mega through the very same stringent compliance checks that it allows any file host to go through in order to become a pre-approved merchant.

Our initial opposition to Mega resellers having Paypal is that they had NOT gone through the necessary pre-approval process thus the required oversight of the operations of Mega had not taken place.

Until Mega stops complying with the law and with Paypal's policies then it's fully entitled to have a Paypal account.

And it's that way with every program.
The paysite can barely get the update up and it's already being monetized by pirates. By the time the affiliate program can create promo material...it's too late.

That's why affiliates are hurting so badly.

We see this happen every day, it's able to be mitigated however we need more resources and we need companies to sign agreements with us so we can fight this on their behalf.

Hustler is a favorite for pirates, we see their stuff hit the file lockers on day zero of release.

This is just implicit proof that the owners of these sites watch Mr. King and his blog updates like a hawk, they know he has a proven track record.


Many of the scrapy uploaders have gone extinct, what are left are individuals that treat copyright theft like a business, those that upload hundreds of Gigabytes everyday and in a structured and organized fashion (siterips and thread topics focused on one niche or site).

People still complain of tubes. The other week I had 10 videos of mine that were up on xhamster, I forwarded proper documentation and within 12 hours all videos had been deleted.
Tubes are now mostly compliant, the much bigger problem is all the content being tossed up and around on all forums with methods that help circumvent direct legal action. Forums and blogs claim no direct hosting and only index links, file lockers claim they can not directly know the content. As a result there is a runaway effort to produce as much incentive to potential file locker premium members. Millions of dollars in intellectual property discounted to one premium month?s purchase.

DMCA takedown is a waste of time almost in some instances, people log back into their file locker accounts and simply reset the links.
Other?s claim to simply out market pirates, but as we recently saw a few posts ago, many DVDs and site updates are indexed on the popular pirate blogs within hours of release.

Many of you on here disapprove strongly of theft online and what it has done to your bottomline, I strongly implore you to donate to someone who has dedicated an exorbitant amount of time to this effort along with a handful of volunteers.
Some of you that have only a handful of posts, and are all business, have noted how effective this campaign has been.
I?ve mustered a measly $200 contribution, some of you much more.
Mainstream may find a way to protect itself but who is going to care about porn? Mr. King is something of an anomaly in what he has done, and done so well.

Them, and the considerably larger body of people that treat copyright infringement as something to do for no financial recompense whatsoever.

Over 10TB a day is uploaded to usenet. No monetary reward. Multiple TB of data is swopped everyday on HDDs amongst friends. P2P. Private FTP. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Trying to stop people profiting from copyright infringement is admirable, but you are seriously deluded if you think it will lead to more sales because of the HUGE amount of non-profit based copyright infringement.

I would like to add another very bad practice of some russian forums, which is blackmail , extort to the models who contact them for removing content. These forum lists a thread per model, mostly russians and ukrainians, who does erotic photos or cam girl or both, got naked pics and vids. The forum lists not only the work nick names, but also the real full name (with surname) of the models. So if you google the real name, also in cyrillic, you find the facebook (or vkontakte , mamba etc. for russians) of the model, her personal page, along with the forum with posted video captures of private cam shows and content from member areas of erotica sites of such same model, all of which are not intended for vieving of ukrainians or russians, especially with real full name of the model. In fact, all of these erotica photos/vids and cam sites, block access from Ukraine and Russia per request of the models.
Several models in our cam site (and prevoiusly from erotica sites I worked with), so often cry to us that they wrote to the forum asking to remove the thread, or at least the real name, and got replies with extortion / racket / blackmail request of a few hundred dollars in order to do that. This explains why these forums are so efficient in write the real full name of the models, and to make the list so complete: a main business it is getting paid by the models to remove their name and content. Since this is between ukrainians and russians, and being cam girl it is illegal there, the cam girl can't sue the site, and either pays, or keeps crying to us about this. The models do not want I post the forum links (of course), but you can find and guess who those forums are, if you're smart in using google.
