Judging by the post activity a nerve has been struck at UMB HQ and it seems the content thieves fueling their business are growing weary of connection, upload, php, and server errors.

It also appears in absence of Richard Humphrey, Rudy has taken to posting as ScrollDog and has released a inaccurate at best article with images from other stories that then transitions into a AK slam story.

There are reports of unanswered support tickets for weeks, WMZ payment issues to add to the coding and server issues mentioned above with UltraMegaBit.

AdultKing 03-02-2014 04:53 AM

UltraMegaBit is going down, it's just a matter of time. I am patient.

What site is that?

very rogue site videomega.tv

Sorry, we'll have to keep you guessing on that one as we're not done with them yet.

File-hosting site UltraMegabit has settled a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office over allegations it engaged in deceptive business practices when it provided recurring subscription access to pirated content. It's a novel approach, but who stirred the matter up?

Typical from the thieves.

MrDeiz 03-10-2014 03:52 AM

how long does it take to get the last FL with no payment options?
just checked PlanetSuzy.org - they post pirated content from all paysites like nothing happening. any thoughts?

It will take as long as it takes for the risk profile of file lockers to be significantly raised amongst acquirers.

This is happening progressively and it's much harder to get a merchant account for a file locker now than when this project began.

The existing file lockers have dozens or more merchant accounts and killing them off is a slow process. We're consistently working at shutting down payment options for file lockers but this is not a process which takes place quickly. It's painstaking, detailed and labour intensive work.

MrDeiz 03-10-2014 04:28 AM

wishing you all the best to have it accomplished
just checked some big boards - they are blatant pirates and don't care at all about producers
too bad this industry can't get united to get rid of that shit and actually stop supporting those blatant pirates (hi to crakrevenue, bongacams, AWE, plugrush, etc)

Given the owner's history (Rudy Corella) this isn't surprising.

Rapidgator

As many of you know, Rapidgator is a recurring problem to rights holders and to those of you who protect them, send DCMA's etc.

Rapidgator are one of the worst sites when it comes to the re-appearance of previously removed files. We need to chop them off at the knees, but ??.

We now need your help

We would appreciate it if you could send copies of your Rapidgator DMCA notices to [email protected]

This is very important. If you send a DMCA to Rapidgator then please cc it to us at the email address provided above.

The more evidence we collect the better, however please do not send copies of DMCA's that provide links to other hosts.

But I already send my DMCA's to Copy Control, why another address ?

Many of you send copies of DMCA notices to [email protected] and we would like you to keep doing that. However for the purposes of this phase of evidence collection we need a dedicated mailbox for only receiving Rapidgator DMCA's

How are things looking with regards to putting a case together against Rapidgator?
I am having a big problem with one individual who is uploading our content to Rapidgator daily and posting on various forums. I'm sending out DMCA's every day and CC'ing copycontrol.org. They wont remove anything until 24 hours after a dmca has been sent which is obviously potentially very damaging!

I'm normally quite good at tracking problem rippers and uploaders down but this one is giving me a real headache. The host of one particular forum is being very un co-operative which doesn't help. Several emails have been sent to [email protected] but all I ever receive back is an auto response saying that my ticket has been received!

There's action progressing at the moment, I'll report here when we're able to make a public statement about it.

Escalate those forum details to [email protected] and we'll see what we can do.

Get use to the Whac-A-Mole game with these guys. The file lockers obviously agree that it's a copyright infringement because they are removing the content but they don't remove the user or prevent him from going about his business. That's obviously because they work for the file lockers.

I've been dealing with the same issue for years and now it's just something I do as routine maintenance.

I wouldn't hold my breathe waiting for the big lockers to get shut down.

AdultKing 03-17-2014 07:21 PM

Chopped this site off at the knees.

They "remove" the content but then allow the same user to just reupload the same content multiple times. So they wait 24 hours after the DMCA is sent to do anything and then the content by the same user just goes right back up...then another DMCA, another 24 hours, rinse repeat.

All of which will be considered in a legal context at an appropriate point.

Rapidgator (and those involved) may think that they are getting away with this but they're wrong.

And they post a message letting everyone know that the content will be removed within 24 hours so they better hurry up and download. The 24 hours isn't processing time, it's to give their members enough time to get the content.

This industry as a whole has no teeth.

good, it's painfully obvious they are fully complicit and should be made to pay for this. I had one individual recently who made my life hell using Rapidgator. It's obvious he has a relationship with them as they refused to remove his account...

You have to wonder how many of them are involved in Sibsoft the creators of the XFS Pro script most rogue file lockers use.

I would not be surprised if they were 1 of the pro-piracy users here.

Without compromising the things that we are lining up against sites like this right now, I will say that the astounding amount of evidence we have on sites like this will be used to full effect. We've been documenting Rapidgator for over 2 years.

We keep hitting sites like forums and blogs, disrupting their donations, hosting, domains and so forth. We're not going to get into the business of acquiring domains.

In answer to your question I would suggest the program concerned contact us https://copycontrol.org/contact-us
