Yeah Speigelau, models are seeing people spending alot of money so they basically try get them to delete their account and then resign up under her link so she gets the 20%. If thats an affiliate you sent over to Chaturbate, your gonna lose that money to her. We have been fighting it for ever it feels. Chaturbate could change a few things like tying the affiliate to you in other ways than a cookie and it wouldnt matter if they made another account, they would still be yours. Truth is Chaturbate just dont give a shit tbh

I'm not seeing anything wrong on that one. She is asking people to sign up under her but she is not encouraging existing users to log out and create a new account.

Models are allowed to try to get sign ups. Her top sign up link even specifies "anonymous users" which would be people not logged into an account.

This text does not really go over the line in my opinion, it comes close but does not tell people to clear cookies or use a new browser and does not necessarilly target existing users.

"Xpiya Anti Piracy" is filing DMCA notices against legit URLs including chaturbate themselves.

They do it on high volume models like sammyfloodxxx

I suspect it is an unscrupulous webmaster forcing the de-indexing of our pages to rank up at our expanse.

They're getting more clever with their ideas, though, and is getting old:

"If you like me, and wanna make free gift, please USE THIS referral link for registration. You may stylize your username as K_(username) to join special “Kitty_members".
You will warm my ♥Kitty♥ when I see your name in the chat."

It's basically telling them to sign up with a new username with a special K_ indicator for her 'kitty members', and is the same as directing to log out and sign up with that username to join her club, except that it isn't completely spelled out for them.

It could go under being 'incentive traffic', but I didn't see anything in the TOS that says not to do that, though..

Seem fine to me. I checked in the promo tools section and loaded an API site with no issues.

Yeah, I know its been an issue and seems like the last 2 years its gotten gradually worse as more and more models become aware of affiliate earnings and how they can get some extra revenue from spenders.

I just looked at my top ten all time CB spenders and they total a little over 700k in spends and only 3 of the 10 are still active, the rest haven't spent in over a year. I can speculate all day as to why those other 7 stopped spending, I'll never know. There's a multitude of possible reasons, but it wouldn't surprise me if one or two ended up ended up being taken away by models. I only promote via white label so there's no outbound
links and I have a better chance of retaining a spender on a re signup attempt.

CB should change their affiliate term. Let the model monetize. End of the story.

It's stealing from the webmasters that work hard to bring them the fans. I can bring new members all the time but it's not fair for her to be able to tell him if he signs up under her account she will do something extra for him. It makes webmasters want to push CB less when we know the big spenders are being stolen from us :2 cents:

Dude, models already participate in the affiliates program. It's already in the terms.

You made your first sale 2 months ago which makes me think that most webmasters here are more experienced than you are.

You're probably not aware of the many years of struggle some of the webmasters had, for example aff links have been relatively recently disabled on whitelabels, they were causing leaks.

As per the re-sign up issue this is just a fraudulent practice. Webmasters work hard to generate traffic and there are operational costs as well (server, domain, scripts, expertise, ..)

I bet someone had found a solution to this "fraudulent practice" already.

The solution is for CB to BAN all models asking for this.

They ban models from time to time but they should be far stricter and it will go a long way.

Basically the models believe they are doing all the work and they don't give a shit we spend years building up traffic, we spend money and they are the ones actually using our hard work to make more money. When we are getting our fair share it is OK.

I want the models I promote to be better, to make more money cause It will be good for both of us, but when they start asking to get our 20% as well it`s the time it is getting ridiculous.

The sad part is CB allows them to link to their social media and even competitor websites like (Only Fans) thus leaking traffic/money from themselves. No one seems to understand why, but I guess it will come a time they will simply cut this off or they`ll simply fade away and start making less and less money.

Models benefit from webmasters indirectly: we bring in traffic to the platform they use thus helping to build up the customers base. By doing that we even help them advertise their third party offers (OF, ManyVids, ...) which we don't even get a cut for.

Projectmelody has been there for a while. I have never seen anything she has up blocking anything on my whitelabels, they might have changed something up recently.

I don't think chaturbate has a rule against showing recordings. They mention that models can show recordings and videos that they have rights to. In the api they also have a field designating whether the show is live or recorded.

Well, i know Melody, she's from 2019 and original made by DigitrevX, but never seen her before on CB while she is broadcasting from February 2021.

I doubt that it's legal on CB to show recordings, but out of that she is changing header colors and hiding name/logo from Whitelabels like more models.

First time I've seen a clickable video overlay banner with her affiliate link. Also a banner covering the top navigation. If models start covering their video with affiliate banners things will really get much worse.

On a positive note, she doesn't even show up on my white label which means she must have opted out, probably trying to avoid being reported.

I still have not seen what her page looks like on a whitelabel these days. The changing of the colors does not really bother me much.

If they are covering the whitelabel logo like you say that would be bad but still not as bad as covering up the sign up button.

Changing the header colors is bad, because it's a overlay. you don't have the real colors of your header AND logo anymore, and if they cover the logo with a wide banner then the logo is totally gone, The screenshot above is from one of my WL's, so logo gone. The same is done by Hannahjames710

Last time i don't see anymore that models cover the signup button, but you can't check all models ofcourse, you have to see it accidentally

And if you look at these pages on an iPad where the girls re-color the header it accidentally overwrites the signup button so that it is not visible at all.

Projektmelody is still there, just not showing her profile when offline. The page shows cams but her colors and her logo are still at top.

As far as the report button, I have to assume they mean the "report abuse" link at the top of the cam room. I don't think it is there on mobile, only desktop.

Doesn't seem right to do it that way, plus the link is not there when the model is not on line.

I hadn't looked yesterday, got the reply, posted it and went back to coding. Looked at it this morning after you asked.

I also don't think it's the right way to report, but as CB it says then just report this way, maybe that will work instead of sending report mails to affiliates or support.

The block doesn't work with URL shortners. The good thing is chaturbate treats those as third-party links so it adds a 20 seconds delay, even if the final landing page is on chaturbate.
