chaturbate refunded some guy nearly 9K today, on which I lost 1.8k

what is the grace period for chargebacks/refunds?

this guy is a consistent spender, surely a chargeback only works if its a mistake

I'm also seeing it, I guess bots or something, I just ignore it.


That's my biggest fear.
It basically means the money you get paid is never really yours.

Do you happen to know his username? A couple days ago I saw some guy doing a lot of tips all at once in a way that a bot or something had to be doing it lol. When I looked he was at 30k tokens spent on that one girl so far.

Popups don't convert well. Particularly with Chaturbate because it is all over the place.
We do have better luck popping up other cam sites with less Alexa ratings and presumably less members so not so saturated.

We typically do 1/2 the ratio of traffic to signups with other programs that aren't so saturated.

Will be cool if somebody could share split tests of Chaturbate comparing to other sites.

More people with Robo sites that only get the grey CB logo?

On 4 of my sites this suddenly happens... The other 14 running fine

All Wordpress or same server? Maybe your file system is full.

All WP/Robo sites on same server, think it has something to do with the Cron jobs. Just saw some e-mails from the server: Excessive processes running.

I have this server:
Processor 2x Intel Xeon L5420 @ 2.50GHz 8 cores
Ram 16 GiB
IPv4 /29 IPs (5 Usable IPs)
Disk 275 GB SSD
Bandwidth 1Gbit Port: 200TB Transfer
Operating System CentOS 7 (latest)

Maybe take another one...?

Found this error in the cron error log:

12-29-2020 14:35:04 | Cant download thumbnail | cb.poster.php

Maybe it has something to do with CB?

If script can't do it - it will be on all sites.
But wait, it does not downloading thumbnails, it embedding it.
Or you are using old php robo and enabled thumbnails download ?

Everything is up to date and running php 7.4

Restarted cron jobs, disabled/enabled plugin etc. nothing helps...

And the point is, i changed nothing on all sites, but 4 suddenly has the problem

So your models listed on your sites are outdated and offline, that's why you are getting grey cb images. Does models list changes on each page refresh ?
If yes, then problem is in cron.

I had same problem when tried to run PHP crons. Switched to CURL and all working fine.

How it's possible i don't know because i changed nothing, but in the main setting the URL was on HTTP and not on HTTPS...:Oh crap

We are spamming a little not right thread :) About http/https issue i already saw on roboscripts thread i think. Maybe it is some update bug, and changes this setting after update.

Damn, one single spender, one single transaction, $1600 for a $320 comission. Didnt even know it was possible. He's a brand new spender; I should watch out the chargeback

Yeah, they're definitely still around. An account that I referred makes about that much daily, and the 5% T2 commission has been paying my bills all year. :upsidedow

How many spenders total spenders and how many 30 day active spenders and how long it took to get to these numbers?

I am looking for that same goal by the end of the year.

I am on around 4000$ for a bit more than a year

Less than 30% of regular spenders returned in January and the first days of the month are always the most profitable for me(

Same, second period of december was terrible and now it seem to be worst and 2020 was my best year on Chaturbate.

That is true. I got one new spender last year. He signed up on 24 Sep and made nine purchases in total that day. Today (05/01/2021) I've got chargeback of one of his payments. So, after almost 3 and a half months, I have to return the money. Sad

You're lucky all the spends didn't chargeback.

I lost counts of reg. Between 40/60 per day

About 140/150 monthly spenders ad growing.

3/4 whales for 50/60% fo my number

How is Chaturbate counting uniques?

It seems if you embed the cam feed into a page of its own, and you have one user hitting several of those pages he gets counted as several uniques. At least that's what it looks like so far.
