I had abuse experience warnings from Google after using the CB popup code on some of my sites. But not all of them. There seems to be a relationship between site authority and the number of outbound links that influences their judgement.

So with the sites that it was allowed on I just left it and the others I removed it.

Yes I had found out an ad network that was planting their chaturbate cookies, they told me that is what they were using for "empty inventories". Their cb iframes were showing even though I had disabled "cam products". Adding external js to your site is a risk.


By the way, back to the Google flagging popups issue, I now remember one of the pb was that my page was firing the popup wherever you clicked on the page. Google did not like that. One accepted way is to fire popunders upon clicking on a link or a class of links. Anything to trick the user and send him somewhere is a risk. Trying to trick Google is also not recommended.

Yeah, I wouldn't really put pops on long-run money sites that you want to rank on SEs.

I didnt talk about the motivation to spend on the first 3 "origin stories" only the depth of their pockets. I am curious as to how you know what your "whales" are like since we don't get their usernames or the rooms they frequent, only the amounts they spend and frequency. I personally don't know if any of my "whales" are ego driven super dedicated to a single room or if they are trigger crazy Lush enjoyers jumping from one room to another. Very different types. I would love to know how you gather the info cause I could use it myself to learn about my accounts.

About the sentiment of the post... I agree with some of the things you say, it is true many of the big spenders do it for ego, clout, or "narcissism" as you call it. Those types often wont even do it purely for the attention of the girl, but the attention of the entire community they are tipping in. Thats why models will often have leaderboards in their bios. But it doesnt matter how big the ego is if they dont have the income to fund the spending and they very rarely do. They are usually spending credit, a trustfund, or years worth of savings behind their spouses back, their company's advertising budget through the company credit card.. you catch the drift.

These ego driven types will often start slow but get addicted to the dopamine hit and then let their spending get completely out of control so it is rarely sustainable in the long run unless they have super high income, and even then it will eventually take over their lives until they are spending 6 figures in tokens but living off ramen noodles. Ive heard so many stories.. recently RockNRose's top spender who kept her at #1 Miss MFC for a year straight and probably spent over 1MM USD doing so.. ran out of money and gave the model HELL after as they often do.

My point is... whales very rarely last. Sure, there are exceptions to this rule, but in my personal opinion it is a much better strategy to focus on having tons of smaller accounts spending in a sustainable way than having 2 crazy whales getting a second mortgage for their family home because in the first scenario you dont even notice if an account stops spending and your earnings are the most stable because of that. In the second scenario you might get a windfall one month and go hungry the next. So thats what I was trying to explain with my post. Whales come and go, most accounts come and go. You want to focus on fresh signups all the time.

There seems to be some issue with payments since the second pay period of December, many models (me included) got their payments delayed. I didn't get paid for the second pay period in December it until last Friday after sending 100 emails to support. I think because the convention and the holidays were pretty much going on one after the other and CBs staff is so involved in the conventions things got a bit whacky

you get a lot of hits, but the number of registrations compared to the hits is almost nothing, this is disproportionate, probably almost all hits from Adsterra, Exoclick, and Popcash.

there's been talked here about the ratio of hits to regs and it came out that for about every 1000 hits you should be getting 1 reg, I don't see that here.

the source, as they said, is a tube site. it has been my experience that tubes do not convert very well on cams so the ratios will be a lot lower than if they are pushed from other sources.

You have to remember people visit tube sites for free stuff, they don't want to pay for anything

But, I think it's because OF is more supplemental to the performers to sell pics/vids, and less the models trying to get people over to a different platform for streaming.
Like, according to their rules they can say things like "Buy my pics and vids on OFcom/username" etc. But if the model says "Join my private streams on OFcom/username" then that's more of an issue.
Also, it's CB's platform so they can do what they want. But they're prolly just happy that CB is doing a bit better than Weg, so they don't care.. :upsidedow

It looks to me that the rules aren't broken to their standpoint because they have a disclaimer : "...Although we do not control Independent Broadcasters and other users..."

So it seems that they leave it to affiliates (webmasters and others) to report broadcasters who use cb to advertise other live shows services ob other platforms.
