This is my first first quarter for me. Jan-Feb is just normal months for you guys? Or people spend less after long holiday?

I think during the Holiday season people are spending less on porn because of having to spend money on gifts, etc

Here are my stats for cb and 2 other cam affiliate programs for a sample period december 20 to january 5:

My traffic converts but I find it hard to get signups with cb, does anyone have observed the same pattern or have an explanation? The period is not the pb, the pattern is the same for other periods (different dates or longer timeframes)

Thanks for posting your stats. I push mostly paysites and dating and don't have enough cam volume to be able to split my traffic up onto different cam sites. I should try others though.

My question to you is, is the traffic the same source for CB as it is for those other programs?

Identical source. If others come to the same conclusion then it might be an issue with the join page (too many steps). If not then I am puzzled.

Just work on CB, it's the best. I haven't had a day where my account made $0 for years.

That's the thing. I didn't either until August. It's been a very, VERY lean 4 months all of a sudden with me hardly even making min payout. Traffic source and quantity the same as it's been for years now.

Not everyone is experiencing this trend but enough are, hence the thread, and around the same time as well.

I haven't posted my stats in a long time so here is the comparison Sep - Dec 2022

Wondering if it was maybe a bad idea to message support the other day about my biggest spender disappearing after 6 years last May. Should have waited a while after the holiday season i think

If CB support just moves the referral from one account back to yours, why would it matter to wait?

Less chance of getting a reply over the busy period I was thinking?

Oh cool, I was thinking more like letting the buyer spend more on girls(or guys) during the holidays, then get the money back lol.
I've seen some girls tell people to sign out and re-sign up with a new username that starts with the same thing, like CHBCLUB-username, so that the model knows that they did it and then they get perks and stuff. Those accounts should be easy to mass-identify, though. But let's say that a spender did that, but then got their account moved back to the original referrer, and the spender happens to be talking to the model, too, then timing on getting the account switched could make a difference.

I was also inspired to submit to Chaturbate affiliates support's e-mail, a list of 6 of my biggest spenders Id's also missing in action mostly from early this year and only one for over 2 years, and I sent that mail recently on 2 Jan, and they usually takes no more then 2-3 util days maximum to answer me back, but in some few cases they just never answer at all, and I hope it will not be the case. Do you remember how long did you wait for them answer, as I suppose it may take some time for the full verification, calculations, etc ?

Yeah its very inconsistent. Sure it was the 2nd of Jan i emailed them too. See what happens i guess. It could depend on who actually reads the email on whether you get a reply or not

Looks to me that the system at CB is not working well.

i keep track of the hits i send in a database aand when i check against chaturbate stats they are always within an acceptable range +or-

they are never going to match me exactly because i don't know the formula for their "unique" calculation but they are never very far off in my experience

My registration rate has gone down the drain, it used to be a lot better.

until chaturbate added their postback feature there was no way to track regs and i have not implemented that, hadn't really thought about it, actually

regs are down, it seems, for everybody

i have attributed it to every porn site out there having links or popups to chaturbate so users probably hit our sites pre-cookied for somebody else

i have always assumed that if chaturbate was reporting the rest of the data accurately that they were reporting regs accurately too

at some point in all business it does come down to trust

if i feel like i can't trust somebody i do not do business with them

if you are going to deal with sponsors you have to trust them or you will end up going nuts

just my opinion and worth every cent you paid for it

but i will consider implementing a post back, it would be nice to be able to track signups

That could be it : if raw/unique visits count when you send a visitor even if he is already cookied by someone else then this could explain a decrease in join rate for the reason you have given.

I'm doing great in 2023 so far. with Chaturbate. Always pay on time as well. My unique hits are all over the place though.

Hey guys I am completely new to AM. How do you guys promote for free traffic? Do you guys just upload mainstream porn gifs or upload model videos from CB?

Those methods won't do too much, and definitely don't go uploading cam girl videos to tubes, they hate that.. lol

More like, make your own cam site with API, or use Whitelabels somehow, or make a review site, or find a blackhat trick that works to get your cookies set, or word of mouth referrals to your single rich friends, etc.

CB has changed something on the whitelabels.

I have some whitelabels with still custom css. Couple of days ago i noticed that they not working anymore, no cams, only some vertical lines.

Mailed support about it and got reply that it was caused by the custom css. I removed the custom css and the whitelabel is working again.

Everything down, both front and back end for me.

Be careful doing this, if you remove custom CSS, you'll lose the option to add custom CSS on that whitelabel. Happened to one of mine, those CSS fields are completely gone now for that whitelabel. 😥

Emailed them about whales that were good for a year or more with consistent sales that dropped off. Will see what they say.

As for Sept vs Dec stats... I noticed when looking at things that whales don't give a fuck if it is Xmas or a random day in June. They are going to buy regardless. But the aggregate number of regular Joes do care if it is Xmas and they combine together to give you a drop in sales.
