What's funny about 1hostclicks TOS is they state they don't allow pornography of any kind.

Ok, I'm back in action, albeit slightly slower than usual.

I'll catch up on my email and threads on the forums and then post some more takedowns.

I'm not forgetting about any illegal file locker though.

Wow putlocker is huge is fuck. And they were also on the MPAA/RIAA top 5 worst offenders priority hit list published 2-3 months ago. And while those worthless overpaid Hollywood suckers couldn't do shit to stop this filehost from posting vast amounts of stolen works, aside from publishing their toothless watchlists, you did. Very impressive. Just shows them how it is done - maybe those fat suits will start doing some work now, to justify their absurd salaries. They're no longer needed to shut down filehosts, but they're still needed to shut down thepiratebay and the likes.

AdultKing 07-05-2012 03:07 AM

Toucan Sharing, a prolific but fairly clumsy file locker, have had their Paypal and Alertpay/Payza accounts terminated.

They may now have to close up shop according to their news page :(

More to come.....

Thanks for the supportive comments :)

It may be fun to watch, but it's fucking hard, I mean real hard work. It's also costing me alot of money to fund the effort.

So again, it's just a front and people will continue to upload 100's of gigabytes of illegal content on to file locker servers, they do so because if pedophiles see that much up for grabs and it's relatively safe to download as the logs are so massive and the files get deleted and there is no telling what was in them after that time (usually I think), they want to get it quickly before it's gone and therefore the only way to assure this is to buy a premium membership.
I undoubtedly believe all those kinds of uploaders of that stuff have a rev share with the file locker they're working with, 50/50 sale or whatever it may be.

Since these things pop up like daisies, when one file locker wises up and maybe even starts cooperating closely with LE, they just move on to the next file locker service. There's no stopping it unless you cut off the funding.

Great post. This needs to be explained to Paypal so they are far ore careful who they process for.

Also has this campaign been sent to MPAA/RIAA yet? Get them coming at it from the same angle and file lockers are a thing of the past. Few care about music and films. different matter on CP.

AdultKing 07-05-2012 04:12 AM

Nitrobits want to sue us. We have offered to provide them contact details for our lawyers.

Like I said before. Put up a Kickstarter campaign. People can contribute and we'll really get to see if folks here are willing to walk the walk, like you are.

See, the thing is this. I don't want anyone to be able to level the allegation that I am profiting from this campaign, even though it's costing a lot of money to keep going.

I think I just need to wear the costs myself, unless people want to contact me to make an informal contribution I don't think public calls for donations or money is a great idea.

I'm happy to be convinced otherwise.

I have been reading this thread on and off for a few day and its pretty amazing. You are doing a great job AK, very well done.

Supportive comments. And some dude asking you change how you post your results cos he's getting all confused as to how much ass you're kicking. Jesus Christ.

This man is shattered, spending his own money and having to take constant breaks cos his MS kicks in!

Where's the offers of labor and funds from every single one of you adult content producers? You don't have one staff member you could give to AdultKing to help him? Where's that hectomillionaire piracy profiteer with his much talked anti-piracy division with an offer of help?

Disgraceful.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Piracy doesn't affect me or my business. It affects, however, every single one of you guys.

P.S. To take out private torrent trackers, do the Paypal/AlertPay attack to stop them being able to accept donations. That's how they survive. Donations in exchange for ratio.

For public torrent trackers, report the ad networks they use to Visa/Mastercard/PayPal. Alot of the networks torrent sites use are self-serve. They need those payment options for the marketers to pay them. If they are not self-serve, they still DO NOT need Visa/Mastercard TMAing their merchant accounts.

P.P.S. Bloody hell. It's exasperating to see how much AdultKing has done compared to, well, every single other digital content producer ever affected by piracy. If you guys don't give him a reward and a kickass holiday or a Lamborghini at some reward show, well, you suck.

+1 for the fund raising campaign. You do what is important for all of us, and we should bear the costs with you. Yes pirates will try to use it as an excuse to compromise your cause and efforts, but so what? They've been trying to use every excuse possible so far, not excluding your very own name, does that mean you're going to change it too to make them happy? Even if you do, they're not going to be happy, I assure you because it's not your name which is the reason why they're pissed off.

What pirates do or say should be disregarded completely - they're in permanent denial of everything that may hurt their ability to make a buck of off other people's stolen property. Argueing with them if futile. We all know what those donations will be used for, and that is the only thing that matters. What pirates have to say on this is irrelevant.

And one more thing - please add paxum as a donation option. If you do not have an account there yet, I'm pretty sure RuthB will be more than happy to assist you to get one within the shortest time possible.

UploadC. Paypal terminated fund frozen for 180 days. No longer allowed to accept Paypal.

http://stopfilelockers.com/uploadc-t...alertpaypayza/

I am working on killing off their Alertpay / Payza funding.

AdultKing 07-05-2012 05:23 AM

Is there a transparent way I can collect funds, showing a widget on the blog, also allowing me to be transparent in the way donations are accepted ?

Sorry I don't know much about kickstarter, there is ChipIn but that is flash based and alot of people on iPads are going to the site.

Indigogo and Kickstarter both allow this. The tally and a list of funders is posted on the project profile page.

I really don't think Kickstarter would allow the collection of funds for an on-going campaign like yours. Kickstarter is about prepaying for products, I believe, rather than funding services/charities etc.

However, I believe IndieGoGo.com would.

Kickstarter is used for a lot more than just pre-paying for people's hardware projects.

Lots of people using it to fund projects like movies, music and what not.

You are probably correct that IndieGoGo might be the better place for this, but Kickstarter would work just as well.

Kickstarter only deals with products. Hardware, movies, music...

IndieGoGo deals with both products and open-ended projects, like AdultKings.

I've been involved in a few projects that had successful Kickstarter campaigns and there was no incentive for those funding the project, so I think you might be a little off there.

Regardless, IndieGoGo has had some pretty big donation campaigns...like the old lady bus driver who was berating by middle schoolers on her bus and has received almost $700k in donations. So that might be the best place to do it.

I live in the town where all that happened with the Bus Monitor Lady. It's been HUGE news here.

Get something up and let's get some donations going towards the cause.

AdultKing 07-05-2012 05:48 AM

I can't use IndieGoGo, this type of campaign wouldn't be allowed under their TOS.

I think ChipIn might be the best, but it suggests you set a limit to be raised and I don't know how far or deep this rabbit hole will go yet.

One kind person has already privately donated $100 , thankyou to him.

TeaForOne 07-05-2012 06:00 AM

ChipIn looks awesome. What great tool.

Factor how much is your efforts costing you a day, then ask for a month?

I don't know. I'm off to bed. You should be very proud of what you have done.

C'mon bro, we ain't Wall Street. The only transparency we need is to see your reports keep coming. You can blow our money on coke and whores for all I care :pimp The only thing that matters is that you keep doing what you're doing.

Relatively few of us have Kickstarter accounts, but nearly every one has paxum - publish your ID and the money will start coming in immediatly. You can publish your paxum account transcription weekly if you want transparency, no problem. But let us to help you, by adding by far the most popular adult industry payment option, so we can start sedning you donations ASAP to help funding your cause.

You can later add Kickstarter, or any other option you like. But start with what is the simplest and the most popular option - Paxum.

TeaForOne 07-05-2012 06:32 AM

Use paypal for donations, that would make this even more fun :P

k0nr4d 07-05-2012 06:39 AM

You could register a non-profit corporation and take donations on that via bank transfers etc. That will make it all alot more legitamate when these filelocker guys start saying that you are taking money and blowing it on whatever rather then what you say you are.

AdultKing 07-05-2012 06:45 AM

I've added a ChipIn to the http://stopfilelockers.com site. It works with Paypal.

I've kept it low key.

And in other news.

5 more Extabit resellers just lost their payment processing.

AdultKing 07-05-2012 06:52 AM

This post on WJunction is gold. After reassuring everyone they could get Paypal back by going through a pre-approval process they have been told to GTFO.

I've added a chipin widget to the page at http://stopfilelockers.com, it should let you pay by paypal or credit card. Please don't feel you need to contribute if you don't have much money. I am not expecting anyone to contribute however I will be greatly appreciative of anyone who does.

If contributions exceed expenses I will donate the money here: http://www.makeawish.org.au

Thank you for contributing, it's unexpected but appreciated. This is a long term project so I am keeping donations open until December 6th, although I am expecting there will very few illegal file lockers left by then.

I have some news about a larger site, I'm not able to disclose it yet, but the moment I am given the go ahead you'll all love it I am sure.
