No paypal option any more.

Depositfiles is big. Especially in the past so there are all sorts of links out there to them with people's full content within them. Taking away paypal may not kill them but you're causing them to bleed and making it harder for pirate downloaders and uploaders. Keep chippin' away. :)

It would be great to see some coverage and support on this from AVN and XBIZ. I think many affiliates and smaller pay site owners consider them to either be corrupt, shills, or otherwise not concerned about their business. It'd a go a long way to see them take a stand and help out in this effort.

Maybe they will criticise my methods, maybe the article wont be supportive, I don't know what's going to be written, I simply answered as fully as I could and let whatever come out of it come.

In the end I don't care what people think about me or what methods are being employed. The fact is we are hurting pirates in the hip pocket, we're reducing incentive and this will lead to less commercialized piracy on file lockers.

About time they got on it. :thumbsup They need to make a new AVN award category for you this year, but it may be a little awkward after you decimate uploading.com. :upsidedow

Xbiz asleep at the wheel?

It's difficult to trust industry "media" who give shit stains like Stuart Lawley a platform to speak, and allow PornHub to hold a seminar at their show.

Sleep time. The additional news I was expecting hasn't arrived yet, hopefully I'll have something good to report when I wake up.

You saying that right, I know for a fact that a non-descript, middle ranking, average but legit dropbox style site is currently making circa USD$20K a day on new signups.

DMCA = Can't control what's on you sell or give access to.

When Piracy-4-Profit sites out there are saying "Hey, uploaders... we're going to PAY you to upload the latest movies and software"... they're controlling what goes up.

Otherwise uploaders would be uploading a bunch of jumbled ASCII characters and get paid exactly the same... but that's not happening.

Hats off to AVN for covering your efforts!

I'm awake now :)

We've killed off a few resellers for some sites in the time I have been gone, nothing major but every little bit helps!

Look like panic is starting to set in at WJ.

Why keep the file hosts forum section, on Wjunction ?

Do you think filehosting will ever go back to normal like before?

AdultKing 07-10-2012 04:20 AM

Hi everyone I just woke up and am working at it again.

We're into the final push to get the collaborations system working.

We are working on shutting down Paypal for FileFactory.com and expect to resolve them soon.

We've been killing little resellers like mad, once the major account is killed then it's quicker to deal with their resellers.

I'll post more news as my night and your day progresses.

The past 24 hours has been the worst when it comes to being bombarded with abuse and threats, so many losing Paypal at once really got their attention.

There is already one:

enjoy!

FoxtrotAlpha 07-10-2012 05:18 AM

You're doing a great job though. They can threaten and abuse all the want, they can't stop what is coming.

Mostly because they're all uneducated fools.

AdultKing 07-10-2012 05:24 AM

The more abuse we get the more we know we're having an impact.

http://stopfilelockers.com/wp-conten...07/worried.jpg

One person on WJunction seems worried about the flow on impact to sites like WJunction which act as file locker support sites.

Don't expect too many updates tonight people, we are working on some bigger sites and we are also pushing hard to complete the collaboration system which is taking longer than expected.

More to come.

First: This is sanctioned by and in collaboration with AdultKing.

Here is YOUR chance to help and make an impact:

It's simple: Re-tweet these two tweets and have as many friends re-tweet them as well:

https://twitter.com/ColdCopy/status/222135904251297793

https://twitter.com/ColdCopy/status/222357817334566914

Post them to your Facebook or any other media with many eyes on it, that's fine as well.

Goal: Raise massive awareness and get #stopfilelockers #coldcopy together with #piracy trending on twitter.

Goal set too high you think?

How about: No one knows what he can do until he tries.

I'll also post this as an extra topic.

DamianJ 07-10-2012 05:42 AM

Thanks, nice input.

We'll consider it, let's give the industry people a day or two and let's see what they can do first :pimp

AdultKing 07-10-2012 06:44 AM

HipFile.com have moved to Moneybookers/Skrill. We are working to shut that processing down now.

Collaboration system, still hard at work.

First campaign is free, after that it is 50 bucks a month. Point is, if you do it now, it will measure and track all the reach this initial push gives you. Makes a baseline. The data you get out of it is AWESOME.

I begged them to let me do adult on there, but no dice. I use them constantly for mainstream clients. Spectacularly good.

But, as I said, just a suggestion!

FoxtrotAlpha 07-10-2012 07:23 AM

Although some of these hosts are coming back with alternative payment processors, it is damaging them greatly at least.

One of the only reasons people bought accounts from them in the past was because they used PayPal. Users have lost trust in them now and are refusing to use these alternative processors, meaning even if they're functioning, they're losing big money.

Thanks, we'll def. look into it also for further social outreach.

Point of this CTA - (Call to action) though is to see how important it is to the people already within the adult industry to take action and get involved in this campaign.

My point is: It has it's reasons why we don't just use social media agencies for making this go viral.

You input is appreciated and has been noted for later use though. Thank you. :thumbsup

AK is away for a bit, I'm sure he will say his piece to this as well.

What offerpop does is you make a post with a landing page, donate/thankyou whatever. This has tracking on it.

Then you tweet it, and ask people to rt with instructions. You then get stats on your tweets reaching your audience AND their audience so you can assess the reach your tweets had.

It also gives you more useful data. And there are ways you can use it to get people to follow you back and much more.

I'm not arguing, just explaining, offerpop isn't an agency. It doesn't tweet for you or anything. It's just a really good way of getting more reach, more people to follow you and loads of lovely data.

It would be perfect for what you're doing.

They have facebook stuff too.

Or stop with just file hosts who pay uploaders.

The flaw is obvious, what's being done here can be done to anyone who has anything on their servers that doesn't comply with the processor's Terms.

Also they seem to think they have a right to pirate other peoples hard work. :upsidedow
