Well, that method hides you really well and pretty much indicates that you have a "closely held" corporation, which does a very poor job of keeping you shielded by the corporate veil but you do what you like.

You can generally use a PO Box in your home state for this purpose or a box at the local UPS Store.

The benefits apply to the corporatioin, regardless of where and how it does biz.

There ultimately is no way to hide who you are. You could always start a new INC and make the owner another INC, but that train will stop somewhere, and your name as the owner will be given. besides, if you did something to be sued, any decent lawyer is going to find out who owns the company. There is nothing wrong with putting yourself as the agent. I know good attorneys who start a new business and list themselves as the agent. INC's are not bullet proof anyway, it's not impossible to pierce the corporate veil especially if you did something illegal. Not so much for out standing debts of the company, but if something major happens there is a decent chance they going to get you.

It is entirely possible for you to be able to control and run the corporation in complete anonymity and in such a manner that only a court order or valid subpoena issued by a court of competent jusridiction can delve in. Supoeanas can be resisted in court as well, through the filing of a response. You do not have to be doing anything illegal to desire anonymity in business dealings.

You do not even need to own any stock in the corp to be able to control it if and only if you know what you are doing.

last i checked "complete anonymity" does not = subpoenas and court orders getting you the info. Sorry you lose. If someone wants to find out who the owner of the company is, they will.

I did write that using existing tax laws in a legal manner can indeed result in a tax due of zero and I am correct in that assertion.

I did not say that you cannot be sued but I did write that with the proper use of a corporation, you can shield yourself from personal liability.

I did write that I often use a little-known but perfectly legal method of concealing the identity of the person who is actually running the corp and I do use that method quite successfully.

I did not write that I use any "secret inc methods"; all that stuff is standardized and you know it.

It's what you do with the corp after you establish it that makes all the difference in the world.

Yep and for others, including a guy who lives over in the next section who need a corp for his roundy-round racing project. With the corp he can deduct his racing expenses. Without the corp, it's a hobby and he would have run out of hobby losses quite a while back.

If a person simply did what you stated above, they will lose the tax benefits of the state that they incorporated in and become liable for taxes in the state and city that they are doing business in. They need to demonstrate nexus in the state of incorporation.

But if it's your BUSINESS, and there are taxes and laws etc to deal with, and you are doing said business in an on-the-edge-of-acceptibility industry like PORN where it's wise to keep your head low and under the radar and keep ALL your ducks PERFECTLY in a row (taxes, 2257, etc) then GO MEET WITH SOMEONE in person.

Nothing against Sally/Sal, this "advice" is in regards to anyone. Maybe people won't fuck with you, maybe it will all be okay.....or maybe you treat your BUSINESS as a BUSINESS, not some online game.
