I have no allegiance to Russia, but i suspect alot of what we have been told about them is a lie. You need to realize the stuff you see on TV is ON TV FOR A REASON. It's all propaganda.

You guys are too paranoid for your own good. Specially if you thinking hiding in a bunker in Moscow will save you from a nuclear war. I hate to break it to you, but a city like that in a nuclear war will be hit with many nuclear bombs.

You would not have enough supplies to last long enough for the radiation levels to drop low enough to be able to leave your tomb with out dying from the radiation sickness.

Honestly, you aren't even engaging your brain to think logically of the situation. Anyone whom goes into a shelter in Moscow to survive a all out nuclear war will die there.. Only much slower and more miserably than those whom died above ground.

Your Russian paranoia defies basic logic. If you are really worried about a nuclear war, then you move as far away from Moscow & and other major targets as you can get, into the mountains and live in a cave..

Other wise you act as most Americans and not worry about stupid things as dying in a nuclear war and digging holes in the middle of a city with a big red X painted on it..

A Chernobyl catastrophe was worth to 1000's of nuclear explosions and you know, some people still live there. I'll tell you a secret. I'm not talking about getting taken out by the explosion.. They can not keep enough fresh water & food for every Russian in Moscow whom happens to run to the shelter. In best case they might last a week before having to dig themselves out of their hole.

When they do this, they will then be surrounded by the radiated wasteland and will not survive their attempt to flee to anywhere which isn't filled with radioactive destruction.. No one in Moscow but fat cats in private bunkers whom can stay put for months or years, will survive past 30 days of any massive attack.

All those bunkers are useless because of what happens after the explosions. Didn't you learn anything about Chernobyl and all those poor souls whom died due to the radiation??

The people whom survive long term will not be the people in Moscow, it will be people in areas far away from the effects of the radiation. Even those people will be weeded out by a large percentage by the radioactive fall out which drifts in the air and by what ever other germ warfare that happens along with the nuclear war..

I realize it's different but you don't seem to understand the fact that Moscow will be obliterated with multiple nuclear blasts in the case of any nuclear war with the US. Just the same as Washington DC would be.

There is "NO" surviving that even in a bunker deep underground because unless they can stay there for years, they will have to surface. When they surface they will be right in the middle of a wasteland of radioactivity. Everyone surfacing to those radioactive levels will die a miserable death.

Actually a whole country is a network of bunkers, underground facilities food/fuel/weapon/clothes storages etc. For example, when I was in army, I ate a meat which was stored in one of those places since 1940. It wasn't as tasty like a fresh Angus steak, but I didn't die after it and had no diarrhea as well So be sure, even in case of total destruction, millions will survive.

Bullshit. The explosions push a downward blast and that blast causes destruction and with-in that destruction is dust. That dust become irritated and toxic. It also accumulates in the air. If the blast occurs over the ocean rather than dust it's the sea salt which becomes air-born and irradiated.

It's why the rain turns black after a nuclear blast (or white over an ocean). The ions seed the clouds and all that radioactive fall out rains right back down. You are seriously deluded if you think there will be no fall out.
