What she states is true but it doesn't cover all cases.

It doesn't take into account scenarios involving whitelabels: cookies aren't shared with chaturbate.com therefore a performer link will plant the first chaturbate cookie at the expanse of the original referrer.

Some smart asses ask customers to clear cookies which invalid the "cookies aren't overridden EVER" statement.

example 3 needs to be verified: what ties a user to an affiliate?
in the case of a user with no email (most likely the tie is username. Then re-registering loses the affiliate)

in the case of a user with email but no paying method (tie with username+email)

in the case of a paying customer (possibly, a combination of username, email and encrypted payment method).

If this is how it works I am happy enough, It is as good as it gets. Real lifetime. But we still have the issue of whitelabels and broadcasters asking to clear cookies. I still think those "Register with me link" are a distraction from the main function: these links have a 20s delay during which a customer is tempted to navigate away, whereas with the main button he would go to the join page instantly.

Good catch Holy Damage! They even moved the double banner on top of the default SIGN UP button which encroach on the core functionality of the site -> report

It is also interesting to note that those identical buttons are positioned exactly at the same coordinates. Like it was mentioned before, the problem may come from the designer of the bios.

Affiliate links are for driving traffic towards a website. Placing affiliate links on the destination website is an aberration.

How many register do you have?

Guys: I realised that the offending overlay banners use absolute positioning.

That means that depending on your screen resolution it will show up at different locations.

I have a laptop and for me the buttons appear right on top of the standard SIGN UP. Chaturbate Support might see the buttons in the middle of the screen if they have a bigger screen and therefore not take action after you report what you (rightly) believe to be an offending banner.

Mine are still going down. I have half the amount of sign ups compared to April at the same period which was already bad.

I am worried about that.

My signups are normal but rev is really crap atm. Last year at this time I had a profit of over $100 now I have days where it's just a few bucks. Hope I can see some stats that make me excited for once. Lol.

That Ocicat is literally asking members to sign out of their accounts, clear cookie and make a new account for her. Then shes got a big legal warning about copyright. Shes got a fucking cheek

That post is from the beginning of march. I knew i recognised that Ocicats name. We all reported her back then. Im sure she removed the "clear cookies & make new account" after i presume chaturbate warned her. Now shes ignored it and added it back again?

Did a big player (pornhub?) stop promoting cb or changed their promotion method? There has been no 20,000 viewers and more room today and yesterday.

I honestly think this is the only thing that will change anything now. Sites stop sending traffic to them. Especially the big sites. When they see their revenue go way down they might fix it. Allowing cam girls to steal our earnings like this has really tainted their reputation and its a shame cause when this nonsense is not happening its a great site to promote. Their refusal to take action is really gonna come back and bite them in the ass
