It continues to amaze me to watch programs/posters that have been around long enough to have witnessed the AFF/Zango disaster, how poorly that was handled by AFF (and Lars specifically) and somehow learned nothing from it.
They make the same mistakes with their decision making when handling public/affiliate relations, doing permanent and irreversible harm to their program and personal reputations.

Someone really needs to do this.... because after all D thinks that it was his traffic all along. As soon as it is sent to his competitors then people like him and Robbie who think that it isn't marketing will understand first hand that ppc is marketing, and you should be THANKFULL that you have affiliates paying out of their own pocket to make sure YOUR program is covered on PPC.

last i checked i think Playboy is a global brand that is trademarked.... and most probably listed in their TOS. Playboy is similar to the Blockbuster examples here.

if it is trademarked then you can likely protect other people from bidding on it. If not then you can only add it to your TOS which prevents YOUR affiliates from bidding on it, which is retarded because then other people will use that phrase in ppc to send to your competitors.

you so don't get it. Now that you stopped Shoehorn from doing it, someone else is going to come along and do what he was doing and send it to another program. At least you were making something off of it at no expense to your own. Now you will make nothing, plus all the bad exposure that you are getting here because you make up your TOS and decide to pay affiiliates as you go.... good job!
