i think you missed the point of my post, dirty-d stated in this thread ( for the first time ) that he doesnt accept ANY ppc, although it's not in his TOS. I was merely pointing this out to xenigo, who was under the impression this was an acceptable form of traffic for dirty-d.

The only people who have disagreed with you are those who think bidding on his keywords is unacceptable, and furthermore you shouldnt be paid because "everyone" knows you cant do this.

This is a clear cut case of sponsor should pay affiliate, and has been advised on MUCH earlier pages by a few people myself included, he should just issue legal proceedings for the recovery of the money.

Shoehorn has largely conducted himself correctly (I understand why he feels the need for the anti dirty d websites, but don't think they necessarily help him and could backfire) and bringing in unrelated matters like that underage case (which I believe was never proven if you research) is only going to diminish the legitimacy of the issue which is that dirty d owes a debt and is not paying it. Beginning, middle and end of story.

Legal action will get the debt paid. This thread will not get the debt paid. and longer it goes on less chance the debt will be paid. We have learnt from this thread that the vast majority of sponsors and affiliates and bystanders that have expressed an opinion support shoehorn 100%. I am sure there are also people aside from the few who have atteptd suicide in the thread that support dirty d, who agree he has a point "morally" but have wisely decided to keep quiet about it and instead are busily modifying their own TOS to cover their asss from this issue in the future.

Dirty d could have easily turned this into a win, but missed many opportunities. Now he should be thinking about how to reduce his loss, and maybe next time choosing his "PR representation" on different criteria.

This all said, how about this for a solution.....

To prove his issue is based on principle and not just on screwing affiliates of the money, dirty d should donate the sum owing to the webmaster's toy run, and there should be a reimburse shoehorn fund set up that I for one would contribute to and I am sure many more would.

I don't like drama, but I don't like to see myself or anyone else get ripped off, so I am outing HowIGotRich.

I started doing PPC campaigns for CrackwhoreConfessions back in March. I got paid on those sales for 4 months without a problem. I think it was then that Dirty D could no longer afford to pay me the whopping $150 per month I was making per signup, and decided to stop paying me. No warning, no email, no contact whatsoever. He doesn't even have any TOS that forbids bidding on "crackwhore confessions" or any other terms on Google, so the campaign ran for another couple months. Finally I didn't get a payment for sometime and tried to get ahold of him.

Nearly 2 weeks after I first started emailing him, he replies saying that he isn't going to pay me because the sales I sent aren't legitimate. Mind you the campaign never changed from when I was getting paid. I said no problem, I can stop the campaign immediately, I just wanted the money I had earned and I would stop promoting his sites. He then comes back and says that he will pay me $100 per signup to keep sending traffic, which seems odd because he told me the sales I sent were illegitimate. Nonetheless, I am not going to be scammed out of more money by this crook, so I say no thanks, I'd rather just have the money owed to me and I'll go on my merry way.

Afterall, why would I want to send him SEO sales when he will just say "oh, your site showed up higher than ours, those sales don't count".

So he refuses to pay me. Whatever. Obviously $350 is a big deal for him and he isn't able to pay it, so lesson learned on my part. Hopefully anyone reading this will think twice about sending traffic to that program. If he isn't able to pay me the $350 he owes me its only a matter of time before he stops paying everyone else.

Hopefully Dirty D will come in here and give his side of the story.

As an affiliate, I would honestly be more concerned about the potential filming of underage models more than not getting paid. If that article is true, couldn't that mean that anyone who marketed using her content is just as liable as Dirty D is for distributing it?
