It's not only this, i have a strong feeling that CB is also cheating us.
Around a month ago when i clicked my bookmark to my stats i was regurarly send to the normal CB page, clicking again i went to the stats page, entered my password and then again redirected to the normal CB page. Again click on stats bookmark, redirected to the stats but had to enter my password again etc... Sometimes this way around, sometimes the other way around. And when this was going on the hits/regs/revenue was down a lot.

Now this is going on again for almost a week and the same story. Or the CB system is not working OK, or we are beeing cheated by CB itself.
Since yesterday i also have when i open a new tab on Chrome and go to my stats page the Chrome tab is closing.

The stats redirect problem has been going on for close to 3 months for me. At one point it seemed to stop and I thought they had fixed it, but then it came right back.

As you said, when you click submit on the stats login, it will often redirect to the main cb cams page as a surfer would see. I've always felt uneasy about this as if there was some kind of malware injected into their backend and our affiliate details were potentially being exposed some unscrupulous entity.

I'm hoping that its just my paranoia, but the fact that they haven't fixed this issue yet despite multiple complaints being sent to them, is at the very least, troubling.

I just made a screencapture from the closing new Chrome tab when i want to go to my stats. Out of that i will capture every time that i log on to CB to catch that the login is not good working, if i have one i will also post it here.

Tab closes in Chrome. It will maybe open in a new window, or about half the time closes down Chrome.

Guys I think something extremely weird is going on with CB.

I have been lurking here for a year or so.

I have around 15 000 people signed up and I was making 100$ + a day for 4-5 months. With an off day here and there (Maybe 10-15 days in total).

Last 15 days I Had 1 day with 270$, 1 day with 190 and the other 13 days less than 40$ with a few days with less than 10$ I don't think this is possible.

Chaturbate haven't answered to any of my last 3 tickets!

It may be that since Covid 19 lock down people are not spending as much money in USA. As I seen fall in stats at the same time as when the Covid started. Or maybe models are just stealing the big spenders via PM ect. We will have to wait and see. If every affiliate starts seeing small profits and move to another cam site it will not work well for Chaturbate as they will lose alot of traffic.

I have a suggestion for everybody.

Let`s gather as many affiliates of Chaturbate as we can.

Let`s make a small community and contact CB as one. I have around 150 000 clicks per month, not much for a site like CB but if there are 100 of me it`s 15 000 000 clicks and I think they will have to hear us out.

I even think we can get them to ban some Whale accounts and force them to use the older accounts ( I have done it once before on another site on something gaming/not adult related ). Pretty much they can ban account 2 and say ( we found out you already have account X so account Y was banned and you`ll have to use account X for the future ).

I am the same making around 2000$ as opposed to 6-8000$.

That being said I am in contact with the owner of one other huge website and I am told that after the spike last few months have seen US spending drop a lot, but that is just too much.

Its really funny, in my old affiliate acc I got yesterday ower 12 new sign up but no revenue funny because normally 12 sign up I get in 2 months!

Mate I make on average 70 sign ups a day and I have made a whole lot of 6$ today.

With 15 657 users signed up...

This is happening to everybody that I know, CB should be aware of that issue.

The actual problem is models or CB themselves cheating us out of hard-earned cash.

You mean to say that the 2000+ signs up I am doing a month are not generating anything and on top of that models are stealing the big spenders. Even if that is the case how come earnings have dropped for a lot of people by 2-3-4 TIMES. Any ideas?

There is a bug in CB script or cheating with intention,there is no other explication model stealing affiliates that's a bullshit !
cause some high traffic sites generate over again new member so revenue to!

If it's cheating with intention then it are not only the models that are stealing, then CB is shaving/cheating us too.

I think you guys need to be careful with the cb cheating accusations, they've been very honest in the 7 years I've promoted them and have always paid on time. Unless you have specific proof, don't throw out blanket statements just because your revenue is down.

They disabled model outbound links on all white labels, so I feel somewhat hopeful that models can't steal customers, although I'm sure I've lost some of my whales over the years to this. At least they are listening to affiliates and trying to make things better.

Is anyone still getting the stats redirect, it hasn't happened to me in the last 8 hours and stats seem to be loading really quick, so makes me wonder if they addressed the issue after seeing this thread.

You are right, cb pays on time, they are reliable.

We all know about 2 things that effectively impact affiliates negatively. These should be the focus of discussion:

1- some broadcasters incite users to re-signup
You only see the tip of the iceberg, what you read in the bios exists also in private chats and social media. Since everyone is now aware of this unethical trick, it would be advisable to change the system so users can't be reassigned (or make it more difficult).

2- dmca
A number of broadcasters believe that the use of chaturbate tools is an act of piracy, there should be an effort made to clarify this.

There is an article in the cb knowledgebase about copyright but it doesn't mention the right for affiliates to use promotional items. This would clarify the never ending confusion if they were to, at the very least, mention something about dmca compliance of the promotional items used by webmasters: https://support.chaturbate.com/hc/en...n-another-site



It was a combo action: disable of model outbound on whitelabels + removing of the timer for such links on chaturbate.com, the latter resulting in better conversion for broadcasters and less leads for webmasters.
I still believe that affiliate links have no place on a destination site since the purpose of affiliate marketing is to drive traffic to a site, not so to plant fish nets on the destination site but that's now established that it is a business decision, so no need to dwell on it.



On the other topic that is discussed here: I don't know why there is a suspicion about the broken redirect, I don't see any reason to believe it is used to cheat anyone or how that would achieve that.

Its definitely not impossible, the key is understanding how many unique spenders on average you have daily and how much of your daily revenue might be driven by just a few spenders. All it takes is a couple of whales to stop spending for your revenue to take a nose dive and if you don't understand the breakdown of your income then it may seem really suspicious. Do you use the stats tool mentioned frequently in this thread?
