The chap brute forcing passwords here is speaking the truth in many respects. The majority of people here ARE clinging onto an outdated business model. They ARE selling cookie cutter shit porn. They ARE not providing an excellent UX. They DO have flakey security. This industry really reminds me of the music and movie industry. Thought they were better than everyone. They had years of selling people shit they way they demanded. And people did it. Then the internet happened. And people rebelled. The porn consumers are rebelling. Are you making your site better than a pirated version, or are you doing a Markham and offering sites with download limiters, Real Media content and lies on your tour pages? It's really a wake up call. |

Thing about piracy is that it existed WAY before the internet. The first printing presses were viewed as piracy. And paying uploaders is such a tiny, recent part of piracy. People just do it for the bragging rights. For shtz and gglz. Because they CAN. Do you think the people get paid that upload the TEN TB A DAY that gets uploaded to Usenet? (Clue: they don't). This whole file locker/upload monkey thing is a red herring. This industry fucked this industry up. Circle jerks, virus laden site, diallers, card banging, shit sites, misleading tours, content rotation, hidden x sales etc etc etc The list goes on and on and on. We literally trained consumers not to trust us. Literally. We'd take the few people that did trust us and fuck them up. Time and again. Now, guess what? They don't trust us. Closing 10, 50, 100 or 1000 file lockers won't make a red cent's worth of difference to this industry's revenues. My clients are doing more than fine, or they wouldn't be paying me to help them with marketing, but for most of them, monthly memberships paid for with a credit card is a very small part of their revenue. Times change. |

This guy seems to like SQL exploits. SQL Injection seems real popular today. With faster graphics cards and OCLHashcat using masks now. Be interesting to see if we reach a point where if somebody gets the password file we all are screwed. I did add a few extra special characters to my password today. |
both domains aren't working

I think some people miss the point that there are two issues here, and only focus on one.
The first is that content gets pirated. As pointed out over and over again, piracy has always been around , and always will. The second issue, that many seem to forget is, the profiting of other peoples work. Filehosters and upload monkeys make money from John Doe, off of my content. Not saying its a stolen/lost sale, because John doe probably doesn't trust us anyway, but its still not right that someone other than me, or whoever I decide, should profit from my work. If my content should be available for free on any host, that is up to me, I don't need someone else helping me with making that decision. You can argue piracy all day long, with valid arguments for both sides i guess, but what u can not argue with is why someone else has the right to profit/make money off of my product. |
good work AK.

Do you really think I made this post? It never (even for one second) crossed your mind, somebody might have hijacked my account? You should know better Robert. The least you could have done is ask me personally. But I am getting into this. More later. :Oh crap:Oh crap |
Well what ever, you probably noticed it and liked the idea of responding to it "like it was the real thing".
