Correct and Rapidshare have a lot of pornography, even illegal pornography on their servers. Rapidshare also accept Paypal. Things that make you go hmmm.

Rapidgator seems to be one of the biggest which offers a pay-per-download system now.

I think it depends. You can buy a reddit gold account using paypal, reddit is not a pornsite of course but there's ton of porn in their subreddits (reddit.com/r/boobies, reddit.com/r/pornvids, reddit.com/r/metart and the list goes on and on) and the same goes for big image hosting sites like imgur.com that sell premium accounts via paypal and host lots of porn pictures that are then shared in sites like reddit.

Tumblr sells "premium" post via paypal and we all know tumblr is full of porn.

No File Locker is immune providing it provides access to large amounts of copyright infringing content.

A part of the equation many file lockers have missed is that of brand risk to payment processors. Some seem to have bet their business against the brand risk that Paypal, Mastercard or Visa see as a result of processing transactions for them.

It really doesn't matter how much volume the file locker is doing in sales, if the overall brand risk to a payment processor is too high then they are vulnerable.

Fileprohost.com lost yet another Paypal account this week (5th or 7th I just lost count), and finally gave up. This site is for sale on Flippa now:

Fileuplo.de and Filehost.ws filelockers also lost their Paypal accounts this week. Filehost.ws cannot process payments at all ATM, they only offer premium memberships through several resellers.

We should club together, buy it with all the data and start suing the pirates. :thumbsup

It's amazing how many pp accounts some of these guys had on standby. Glad to see PP knocking them down fast though when they come to light.

Once a site has been terminated by Paypal, additional Paypal accounts are very quick to deal with. All the delays are at the start of the process, where the site needs to be investigated.

Some sites have moved to Avangate, which is a software reselling platform based in the Netherlands but with offices in the USA.

Other sites have moved to 3rd party processors like PosOnline in Italy.

All of the above accept MasterCard and Visa.

Keep pressuring MC and Visa...once you get them on board, it's all over for pirate sites.

Infringement reports should be limited to infringement upon copyright works. Only copyright holders or their representatives can file them.

The correct place to report CP is law enforcement.

Please do not blur these issues they are entirely separate.

Vreer.com and Filesline.com file lockers also lost their Paypal accounts this week. Filesline is now trying to use new Paypal account in an attempt to bypass termination, but that wouldn't last long.
