AdultKing 10-02-2012 11:47 AM

Thank you to those who have donated, we have raised $725.00 in the past 24 hours, however we need more support so please consider contributing.

Each month we have fixed costs which must be met, this is before we actually get any locker slaying done. In recent times we have had to spend extra funds on travel for meetings, legal advice (legal document drafting, review of non disclosure agreements), software and outsourced work. Just one document cost us around $1000 to have drafted.

Nobody is being paid for the time they put in to this, all time and effort has been volunteered.

We have reached milestones in this effort which will never be made public, we have also made a huge impact on file locker services - most are in disarray and the ones functioning normally are constantly looking over their shoulder.

Help us keep this effort going until such time as we can become self sufficient. We have several exciting developments under way and we are striving to become a potent anti piracy organisation.

AdultKing 10-02-2012 05:21 PM

POSOnline.IT, a third party biller that canvassed terminated file lockers for business and processes payments for around 40 small to medium file lockers has had it's merchant accounts suspended by the acquiring bank.

If they pop up with new merchant facilities we shall target those relentlessly until they are cut off.

No billing company can facilitate the infringement of copyright and other illegal activity without facing the very real consequences of doing so.

We will not tolerate a situation where businesses or individuals deliberately act outside of the law.

We believe several organisations had an interest in POSOnline.IT so as with all actions the standard disclaimer applies - "Copy Control does not claim responsibility for these or any other terminations. Many organisations work to deal with infringing sites and payment processors."

Major (Tom) 10-02-2012 08:07 PM

AdultKing 10-02-2012 08:10 PM

emails to infringements@ ?

If so, they're all entered into our systems as they come in. We don't reply to specific infringement reports, if we did we'd be replying all day and all night.

or do you mean emails to elsewhere ?

Anyone want some cheap content to help me donate the money to Stop File lockers, hit me up in private please.

AdultKing 10-03-2012 12:19 AM

Today we've uncovered 35 new file lockers and completed investigations and reports into them.

We've also had several terminations of Paypal accounts for:

Premium Key 999
rapidrar.com
filesline.com
1st-files.com
med1fire.com
mafiastorage.com
flashdrive.it
4fastfile.com
fileuplo.de
fookem.com
1-Upload.com

we believe the site below is terminated, we're just checking it to be sure

idup.in

We've established an outreach channel on IRC on the Freenode IRC network

You can speak to us directly on this channel when someone is available.

server: irc.freenode.net
channel: #CopyControl

There is also a web chat app available at

http://copycontrol.org/live-chat

I'd also like to encourage people to report piracy related sites by using our web form which feeds directly into our databases and collaboration system.

We have shut down one or more forms of payment processing for over 500 sites now, closer to 530 actually.

More than 50 sites have gone offline as a result losing their money supply and because of the pressure we've placed on them.

There is still a long way to go.

I didn't know there were that many either. Do you know what the rate is of new ones opening?

Do the ones that shut down just re-open under a new name or do you think they throw in the towel?

Paul Markham 10-03-2012 02:16 PM

Sent some money, will send more as soon as I get it into my Paypal account or will send it from the business account.

AdultKing 10-03-2012 02:35 PM

We've posted a new update at www.stopfilelockers.com with a revision summary of recent terminations.

Not all of these recent reports are file lockers, some are enablers.

People seem to try their hand to see if they can escape our notice - simple message is they can't. Others dress their infringing sites up as cloud services with flashy designs however the underlying issue of piracy remains consistent - JustCloud.com was a good example of this.

Some are definitely the same owners. We are much more advanced than when we started this project. We now have forensic analysis, project management and case management tools and we collect evidence in such a way as it can be used in legal action or criminal prosecution.

Everyone seems to think the spotlight wont shine on them or their sites. They are wrong to think that.

Where we see deliberate, repeat infringement we're going to be taking steps to counter that.

I would like to thank everyone who is using our report piracy form.

http://copycontrol.org/report-piracy/

The reports we are receiving are greatly appreciated.

All the information submitted goes into our database and helps us to manage our workflow and target sites.

Please keep the reports coming. It does not matter if you think a site has been reported before, all reports are logged and reports of the same sites over time from different people help us establish patterns which are very helpful.

Here is a third party non file hosting system that hides/redirects links to stolen content that uses paypal and others to pay out to affiliates.

I'd take a stab in the dark and guess most of the guys trolling this thread have their hand in piracy to some degree.

There are many of them. For example you can include the downloader's IP or any other info into the file. That's very easy actually. :2 cents:

Ultramegabit.com is making it big in adult content piracy - they have a high paying PPD program, allow porn and uploaders hurry up to make the most of these high payouts why they last. Although they're still relatively new, you'll be hard pressed to find a program that didn't have their content already ripped, stolen and posted for profit at Ultramegabit.com.

Sites like that are eating our industry alive by allowing hordes of their parasitic "affiliates" to rape the talent and creativity of the hardworking people who invest their time and money into producing quality content, to only see it stolen the next day and monetized at thousands of piracy sites with the help of the likes of Ultramegabit.

This can and will be stopped, but Copycontrol needs your help. Please take your time to collect infringing Ultramegabit links and to send DMCAs to VISA and MC and to cc them to Copycontrol - a good number of valid DMCAs from legit copyright holders will help AK to escalate this issue with credit card associations and to have Ultramegabit's merchant accounts terminates.

For your DMCAs please use e-mails below.

VISA: inquiries(at)visa.com
Mastercard: ipinquiries(at)mastercard.com
Copycontrol: infringements(at)copycontrol.org

Nautilus 10-05-2012 04:32 AM

Please find below a couple of dozens of examples of ultramegabit infringements on our industry members' copy rights, posted in no particular order. Of course that's barely scratching a surface, just to give you the idea of what is the scoop of the problem.

In case you're wondering that Ultramegabit is maybe a legitimate cloud storage service in it's core, and the examples posted above a merely isolated incidents - that is absolutely not the case. Here is proof of this site's owner being knowingly and wilfully involved in assisting copyright infringements.

http://media.ferrocash.com/reports/u...egabit_002.png

In the screenshot above you can see Ultramegabit.com owner ("moogie") providing support to the piracy site sexybb.info owner ("lawina") at WJ, the notorious place where illegal uploaders of copyrighted content gather to discuss their thieving "business". In the screenshot below you can see the admin of this sexybb.info website himself posting content stolen from Deluxecoin.com affiliate program - just a random example, one of thousands.
