Jesus. Good job.

I am on a mission as well. i want to get down in that range. I've never been lower than 10 or so. Started this week. Gonna give it a really hard, "16 week" push.

6% would be nice, at that point (at least with me) I'd really have to put thought into every workout I did along with everything I ate.

I workout 6 out of 7 days a week, anywhere from a 3 mile jog to 60-90 minutes in the gym. Granted my diet spins out of control at times.
As long as I keep my mile time around 6-6:30 and my bench around 225, (weight 195) I'm content.

As of now I'm hovering around 15-16%, I'm going to make some resolve to get my BMI down below 10%. There are so many physical and social benefits to doing it.

Glad to see some results in this thread! Especially Shimmy!

Yeah, typically 10-12%-ish i think is usually a common cut off point for most people where if you managed to get that far with good genes and training hard, it still takes a whole new level of understanding and dedication to get under that (for most people). Using drugs or not, its still tough and its still a science.

Also, getting to 6-7% of course is just temporary. Nearly impossible to stay there without the intense dieting, even on growth hormone and anavar etc.

Also, i think most people would tell you that you are over training but if maintenence is your goal and you're maintaining... then.,... it is probably not a huge issue. Trying to diet down below where you are without any chemical assistance and training that much and doing that much cardio is going to really be an issue. Also, your diet "spinning out of control" occasionally probably helps far more than it hurts if thats how you are training

At that points its more a mental game than anything else. Constantly hungry and always denying myself of cheats, maybe 1 cheat meal/snack per week. Its been a challenge and a great journey. I won't deny that there's no better feeling than being the leanest guy on the beach thats for sure. Girls look, guys look, and girls with guys look

I have been continuing to do the exercise videos on our fitness site. Builds up a good sweat and is a from of cardio without running. Good to get me ready for the gym.

Yesterday was my first day back to an actual gym. Felt awesome as im in Korea, so i was the biggest there..lol
Anyway, im sore as fuck today, and going back in about 4 hours
I do an entire workout in about 45 minutes. Two muscle groups, very little rest time. Keep the heart pumping the entire time, and sweat like a pig.

Whenever I was going back to gym after long period of time I was doing 2 weeks with very light weights and lots of reps for all body parts and after that I was jumping to the 2 body parts a day. I cant tell if this is the most optimal thing to do, but it was working well for me.

yeah, i am doing lighter then i could for sure. However i wanted to get back into the focused workouts on muscle groups as i have been doing workouts in the living room for a bit. I can tell you im sore all over right now. Feels good, but i can barely straighten my arms.
Tomorrow is a rest day, except for taking a very long brisk walk.

i need to get my weight down so I can increase my speed.

3.5 miles on the treadmill today averaging 9 minute miles.

I'd like to be able to do a 20 minute 5k, but it may not be an attainable goal for me.

I bet it does feel good, and yes, it makes a huge difference.

I don't have any equipment at my house, but what I do is head over to my 24/7 gym, do my weight routine (if the day has it) then hit the elliptical for 45+ minutes.
That's when I watch my shows through through streaming services or get my podcasts checked off. Cardio is good in that it flushes your circulatory system. A strong heart results in a strong mind (circulation with valid proof to back it up).
Actually if you want to improve mental fitness, exercise will make much more of a difference than diet can.

But my stomach is visibly shrunken...arms are getting tighter.

Tomorrow is legs and shoulders. and some forearms.
I'm so pumped to hit the gym these days.
I have been overdoing abs tomorrow the abs rest.
I might get some protein powder because im pushing myself hard lately.

will post a pic when the stomach is 100% flat.

met a hapkido guy...might enroll to help get that extra push to lose the belly fat

Start sprinting. It'll improve your long distance.

It'll also drop weight faster than jogging. 10 minutes of sprinting will beat an hour of jogging for calorie burn. I can't say enough good things about sprinting to get in shape quick.

i totally agree about sprinting being an awesome exercise for calorie burn. I also think it is great to help improve overall speed in his long distance run.

Aren't the two types of muscles needed for long distance and sprinting somewhat different though? Not disagreeing with you, it is going to be great for weight loss for sure. Just confused as to the exact meaning.

More of an oxygen intake thing. I'm sure there are different schools of thought on the subject, but all I know is that with the workout I get from sprinting, it couldn't possibly make me weaker in other areas.

but I'll admit I don't do a lot of long distance running because its boring as shit and not an efficient use of my time if I want to burn max calories the quickest.

That is cool. Regardless switching up your workouts will shock you muscles into growth.

It's leg day t-minus 39 minutes

i am always scared of leg day...mostly the walk down the stairs after and the walk home..haha

Now deadlifting a little over 1.5x my bodyweight and able to do sets of muscle ups. Pretty happy with recent progress.
Also, +1 for sprints. Short intense exersizes are better in ALL regards than long sustained ones. HIIT for the win!

Does running after models count? I wonder how many calories it burns.

I am working out like a madman...but im gaining weight
i am up a lot since i started back at the gym. I am hoping it is muscle gains, im eating fairly well. Maybe i might need to watch the diet more.

I am being told i look like i lost weight, in the face, and stomach, but im up 6 kgs in the last 3 weeks. Going to up my cardio after weights, add an extra 30 minutes on the treadmill

The Androgel is working, the T levels are on the way back up and I'm excited about putting the new juice to good use in the gym over the winter. I want to get yoked for next summer.

Chiming in here.

I dropped
$245 - olympic barbell + 300lbs of plates
bench
dumbbell handles for plates (olympic)
extra collars
muscle roller

then i went online and bought a power cage for my short 6 foot ceiling in the basement.

So far, I haven't found any huge restrictions, even being in a short ceiling environment. I suppose some of the standing exercises are limited.

Anyway, just finished squats and shoulders.

I used to be on a roll with fitness 2 years ago and then stopped. I recently decided to build the gym and been at it for about 3 weeks.

I have been dieting and am down 16 lbs/ 7 kg. Now I am starting to work out. I am not sure about the rest of you but working out and keeping a really low calorie intake seems just too hard to maintain.

Doing circuit training three times a week. Just started so nothing but feeling good to be doing something.

You can offset eating at maintenance calories by working out more, creating the deficit.

So if you require 2000cals a day, eat 2000 cals a day plus workout, you should be at a slow, gradual deficit and be able to enjoy eating, as long as it's the right foods.

I wish I could end my addiction to glazed donuts and coffee. I always give in on the days when I've really worked my ass off at the gym.

Another leg and shoulders day has come and passed. I am now beginning to up my weights. Still below max at the end of my reps but that is fine i dont really need to push it so hard. I am finding i am able to keep my form perfect which is more important.
Also i am able to do the reps slower, although for somethings i like to power it up quick and do a slow neg burn on the way down. Quads and hamstrings for example.

I am holding steady at 96 kgs, but my stomach is noticeably better, getting flat. I think another 2-3 weeks of hard work and proper eating and ill begin to lose some weight.
Tomorrow is an off day but im going out for a 5-6 hour walk around the city.

This thread is not as popular as the gif one..but i like it.

I am 6 feet tall and was 206 with a pretty lean baile so the fat level was unbearable. Being 190 and working out is a lot less embarrassing. Hahahaha

Took a 25 mile bike ride on Saturday. I don't live in a flat area...it's one high climb after another. I'm definitely feeling the testosterone increase, and I've never seen such a quick transformation of my body. Androgel is definitely the best drug I've ever taken.

Anybody else do deadlifts on a regular basis? I think its the thing that's making me stronger on every other lift.

Yea, Deads are a great movement and shouldnt be ignored. Now getting 525 for 3 reps @ 180lbs...not too shabby

No need to go heavy when your form is perfect, although it is fun to do every once in a while. Sticking in a higher rep range and lower weight is where you want to be. And dont drop the weight, the negative is just as important as the contraction.
